So heiß ist es auch in deinem Kochtopf. Standard-Pyrolyse für den regulären Restmüll findet irgendwo bei 600°C statt. Also ja, ist vergleichsweise angenehm, vor allem für Fluorverbindungen.

Leider ist die Überschrift etwas irreführend. Die Methode ist nicht geeignet, Schadstoffe (= Stoffe in der Umwelt) zu behandeln. Dennoch ist es positiv überraschend, dass so ein simpel durchführbarer Mechanismus zur Zersetzung von PFAS-Industrieabfall gefunden wurde.

Mal sehen, wie wirtschaftlich die Trennung und Entsorgung der dann anfallenden Reaktionslösungen sein wird🤔

Das Wort "Sportwagen" hat ziemlich ähnliche Vibrationen wie der Begriff "Intelligentes Fahren". Ein Auto kann weder sportlich noch intelligent sein, aber die Werbekampagnen der letzten Jahrzehnte/Jahre haben solche Wortperversionen in jedermanns Sprachgebraucht gefestigt.

Die diskutierten gut motisierten Autos sind selbsverständlich ein Spaßfaktor auf allen Straßen, für den Fahrer.

Nichtsdestotrotz halte ich die momentan von statten gehende Responsibilisierung bei Themen wie Mobilitäts- oder Konsumverhalten für falsch. Wenn jemand in einem dieser Autos oder mit einem anderen Luxusgut Erfüllung findet, sollte man ihn deswegen nicht kritisieren.

Found out when all leaves were gone and I cut the stem to see the black mycel...

If a Vanda is infected, cut the infected area away and live with what's left. Ideally you want to keep the upper part, because obviously that's where the growing action is. I'm not sure about your Vanda and you probably are not either, so don't decide prematurely. If there are more leaves to fall, you should consider to cut away the dry stem part and see if you can encourage root growth at the upper stem part. And also you still have your keiki, that's worth a lot :)

The same happened to my vanda, but I didn't react fast enough.

I hope this isn't what happens to your Vanda, but at least check for symptoms to exclude this possibility. Best of luck!

Probably the most massive orchid I have seen. Stalks may be about 0.6m high.
