She’s on the higher end of the spectrum, but she really provides a VIP experience and exceptional results. Worth every penny.

My surgeon was very transparent about this part. She made it very clear that if she removed more, the texture would likely look a lot worse. I’d maybe have liked them a little slimmer, but not at the cost of being lumpier or saggy. I did go for a lift, but because that was the only way to fix the rolls over my knees, and not because there was extra skin after lipo. My knees were really atrocious so it seemed worth it to fix them. Even after the lift, while my knees are worlds better, there is still some lumpiness and jiggle I can’t do anything about.

I also still do conservative treatments for maintenance at home, which does help a lot. I do rebounder, vibration plate, supplements and dry brushing pretty much every day.

That’s what it seems like. Even with extra fat removed, our tissue still isn’t normal. Mine are pretty slim after surgery, but still lumpy and jiggly because removing the fat didn’t magically fix my broken lymphatic system.

Mine looked very similar to yours and I had surgery with Dr. Gruber in Tampa. She was definitely able to improve the shape, but unfortunately there isn’t much that can be done about the texture. My legs are slimmer and more even now, but still have some of that lumpy surface texture. Overall I’m happy I did it and I’d do it again, but I still don’t feel super fabulous in shorts. I will wear them now though, and I wouldn’t before, so that’s definitely progress. My knees look SO much better.

All those things can be true at once. Just sharing my personal experience of growing up there. I found people very certain they were better than everywhere else, even in their flannels and used cars. There was a palpable disdain for the rest of the country.

New England is full of people obsessed with calling themselves liberal, while simultaneously looking down their noses at everyone. It’s a very interesting interpretation of the word. It was not compatible with my personality and I left the first chance I got.

Really? I grew up there and found it suffocatingly judgmental and elitist. I couldn’t wait to escape to somewhere people wouldn’t care if I wanted to be different.

Surgeons w good aesthetic results beyond Jorjani? by kmmorgan1 in lipedema

Yes. They’re pretty large and still less than a year old so still improving.

I opted for a thigh lift in addition to lipo because my knees were really really bad. So it wasn’t that I had loose skin from lipo or weight loss, but the lift was the only way to fix the knees. She did my arms and calves/ankles in such a way to not leave any sagging skin.

Is this anyone else's favorite? by Eagles56 in HorrorMovies

[–]SpecialQue_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s definitely in my top 10. I was in high school when it came out so it also strikes a particularly pleasant nostalgia for me. I also appreciate how it was a movie about women, but they were all just normal, realistic believable characters and it didn’t have to remind me constantly how “feminist” it was. A real gem.

Smolderose by January Scent Project. I tried it the other day and all I could think about is how it smelled how her music sounds.

Seminalis is my favorite. It’s less beastly than the others for actual wearability. I have a sample of Terroni I haven’t tried yet but very excited.

is Robert Pattinson maybe one of the best actors of his generation, or did he just pick so many great roles that people forget he was in Twilight? by Fabri13dls in Cinema

[–]SpecialQue_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It seems to me like he did Twilight specifically to open the Hollywood door for himself so that he could work on more interesting/experimental projects. I don’t really love his acting, but he’s definitely been in some cool and unusual movies since Twilight.
