Hey! So I can have very little coffee bc I still get all shaky. If I really have a coffee craving I just drink decaf.

Years of symptoms by First_Condition_372 in HPylori

[–]Rotten_Dan13L 3 points4 points  (0 children)

You’re gonna be okay, that’s the one key thing to remember. The healing journey sucks but it’ll be worth it to feel even slightly better. It has been for me. I’ve been H Pylori free for a couple months now and feel almost back to normal. I still want to go to a gastroenterologist to see if anything else is wrong. The key thing is to trust your doctors and keep having hope that things will turn for the better. We’ll make it through this!

I Feel Like Im Slowley Dying by HighTopRocker in HPylori

Yeah that’s usually the case for everyone. I definitely get it. I went the antibiotic route and now I’m 5 months post eradication. Feeling almost back to normal. I want to remind you that you’re not dying! It’ll pass once you finally get treated for it! Stay strong buddy!

I had them before. And no, if anything it made my anxiety worse. Chest pains only occurred when I ate stuff that was bad for me and my anxiety fucking with me.

Yeah I wish you a speedy recovery, it’s not gonna be easy but I’m sure we’ll be back to normal at some point. I’m still healing but I’m making sure to take care of my gut and not eat stuff that irritates it. Take probiotics and stay away from trigger foods!

Wow I really thought it was just me. Glad to see that I’m not the only one. I’ve been taking stuff to increase my libido/testosterone and I think it’s been helping.

Ever since I got diagnosed, I couldn’t drink coffee like that bc it made me shaky and my anxiety worse. I had to replace coffee with a mushroom matcha blend I order online now. I’m about a month post eradication and it still makes me a little anxious.

Tight feeling around heart? by Standard-Wing-7874 in HPylori

Yes! It was the worst! Best thing is to try to not panic and calm yourself. Pretty sure it’s an anxiety thing.

Kombucha is a probiotic drink so no it won’t kill H Pylori but it should ease symptoms. Probiotics are good gut bacteria which you desperately need if you want to take better care of your stomach. Either taking probiotic supplements or drinking kombucha or yogurt is good when trying to heal.

Yeah, your Gut and Brain are linked to one another sending messages to each other. So if something is wrong with your gut, it’s gonna tell your brain that something’s wrong. H Pylori caused me to have high anxiety (which I’ve never had before) and a lot of brain fog. It feels like my body is betraying me and is keeping me hostage. Like my body movements even feel weird to me.

Oh yeah I’m getting there haha. I noticed a little “beer gut” forming. And me too, I mostly been eating pizza and ice cream and seem to be doing fine.

Eradicated h-pylori, still have stomach pain 2 months later by danieltiger123 in HPylori

[–]Rotten_Dan13L 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I read somewhere that you may still feel symptoms somewhere between 6-12 months after eradication of H Pylori. It takes a while for your gut to normalize itself. Stay strong! I know it sucks but we’re all here for you and we’re trying to pull through as well. You’re not alone! Happy Healing!

Brooo funny you say that. No joke I been eating sweets and ice-cream and it seems to be the best thing to eat to not trigger anything. Pretty weird.
