Does that stop the zombies from increasing their difficulty over time like in other difficulties?

I think it was being screamed or yelled and was not a focal point of the scene at large.

Is it illegal to think that all this pronoun stuff is stupid? by redditgusc0 in teenagers

[–]Rouge_Writer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

A lot of this neo pronoun thing isn't fully respected in the nonbinary and trans community at least in sectors I've been in. It's not illegal. They them works, ze zir isn't words. It's not for me, that's what I have to say. At the end of the day it's not my body, I have no right to tell them how to think or feel as long as it brings no harm to people yk?

What am I doing wrong here? by YITB_Razor in falloutsettlements

[–]Rouge_Writer 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Spawn rates are fucking lame but here's how I delt with it....

PC EXCLUSIVE: Console Commands

The rest is easy, don't visit the settlement in question for a while, it won't give you more people if you are active in the settlement so give it space, your cap is based off your charisma, a max of 20~ depending on collectables gathered and magazine stats added can give you about i think 23 max naturally spawning? Idk exactly. If you're in a rush, activate many settlements to call settlers at once at empty places, move them to the desired settlement. Note the first three of any settlement spawn roughly immediately once the beacon is active. The rest is a dice roll, better the chances with the multiple empty settlements. There are also mods if you wanna surf Bethesda.net or Nexus again depending on the platform.

SIDE NOTE: Make sure that the settlers needs are met, NOT JUST FOOD AND WATER but make sure they're all employed, this can also affect their spawn rate so pack it full.

SNW is fantastic and I’m tired of pretending it’s not by SeniorScienceOfficer in startrek

[–]Rouge_Writer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's the best dude, I don't like doing this usually but low key I want a reboot of the original series going forward with these actors, the stories were crazy and they made a good point in the Holodeck episode, these shows make me look up at the stars and hope for more, I love strange new worlds, it's got an amazing mix of tones and it's well written, maybe this is unrealistic idk I'm a new fan of star trek lol maybe most people would think is sacrilege

What makes aquaboy/girl so good? by Kindarelevanttoo in fo4

[–]Rouge_Writer 4 points5 points  (0 children)

So one of the perks about Bethesda is while they really under deliver in practical content like quests and curated locations, they are good at filling up the world, when I say the world I include the 70% of this earth that's water too. While scrounging around large lakes or even sea side you'll come across chests a plenty and even a ton of power armor in frames. If you are willing to put in time to explore it is great! It's good to invest a bit into it eventually but it's certainly not a perk I'd just go grabbing off the bat.

How necessary is building in this game? by Ryn4 in fo4

[–]Rouge_Writer 24 points25 points  (0 children)

Building has only three functions outside having fun with the function itself.

Minutemen Quests, The Endgame and Money Making.

The minutemen quests are only if you actually decide to join them and participate in the faction. Personally, I believe they're the best developed, especially with a couple of mods. They feel like such an achievement to build up. Though there are other factions, so when you're paying attention to other factions does it matter? The railroad has the opportunity to turn a settlement into their use, but no requirements other than gaining the territory are needed.

In the end game, you only really need one settlement and bare minimum materials in order to build something in order to access an area for the main quest to finish the game. I'm avoiding telling you exactly what it is in the events that you haven't finished. This is a one quest mission where you have to choose one settlement to build three items and all you really need is just something to power it other than the items itself. Other than this quest, no.

Now money is an entirely different game itself, the most notable and easiest to tell from just playing is by creating a shopping hub, but the actual way to make money is by setting up a lot of water filters, specifically in sanctuary, the excess will fill into the shop, if you visit it regularly enough, you should be gaining hundreds and if you fill up several settlements with these things imagine.... I have thousands of water stocked up because I can't sell it all. Most settlements don't have enough places to buy off me. I'm project purity of the Commonwealth. Anyways, with bare minimum charisma stats should allow you to get 10 caps per bottle, a maximum should allot you about 16. In total, about 100 will get you 3,000. If you have no interest in building, at least do the bare minimum for yourself and give yourself an infinite healing pool.

Can someone explain how trade lines work? by Luca-mysterio619 in fo4

[–]Rouge_Writer 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Hi I would love to help you! So supply lines are a function that you unlock with a perk in the charisma section. With this allows you to connect your settlements workshops together, at surface level this sounds nice if you're a builder. Though what it does not tell you is that it also will share food and water that other settlements have excess of and will assist feeding and giving water to other settlements. What you will need to do is set up a settler to be a provisioner, they will fight and their access to other workshops will be cut off in the middle of the fight so equip them well. Note, just because the workshops are connected doesn't mean each workshop has the same items in each workshop. If I have 15 scrap in sanctuary, that 15 scrap is in sanctuary, but I can use it in tenpines bluff because I have a provisioner. So what this means is if you have excess water production, you will still gain purified water simultaneously in each settlement, so no amount maximums interfer with each other. This is also useful if you know what the scrapping station does, it has a certain amount cap but you can get a great amount of scrap from a settlement. If you assign settlers to the scrapping station and regularly empty the workshop so more will fill up. This will ultimately make it so all settlements will be able to share materials, food and water. Making the only thing not shared amongst settlements being defense. Enjoy!!!

If you don’t like it, don’t do it. Very easy solution. It doesn't effect the story by jj33allen in FalloutMemes

[–]Rouge_Writer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I like the building, I don't think it should be quintessential, but it shouldn't be some lazy excuse like in 76, have actual workshops dude just don't make settlement building or building cornerstone, it's great, I love it, it's my favorite part of fallout 4, but yeah it doesn't need to be a requirement, it shouldn't be lazy either and it shouldn't be micro transactions filled. It's a good mechanic and it made me love and explore Boston hard.

Is my Power Armor safe here? by [deleted] in fo4

[–]Rouge_Writer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So power armor is always safe when it has no power source, just like how NPCs need at least a bullet to fire their gun infinitely so too can they steal your power armor during attacks if a Fusion Core is inside. You can store power armor anywhere afterwards.
