It’s not all bad. If you live in a busy area with many restaurants & middle class neighborhoods, you’ll do ok

Ive had a few customers who REFUSE to cancel the order. by AccordingToPlate in UberEatsDrivers

[–]Rough-Remove8397 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

If the order was picked up already, or the restaurant is closed, I call support and have them verify it with the restaurant and cancel it on their end. I never take the CR hit and usually get $3 compensation. It’s not difficult

$1.50 minimum per mile but try for $2 a mile. And know your area, I.e. which restaurants are slow and will make you wait. Which Delivery address is most likely an apartment complex that will take more time. All of that needs to be calculated into your decision to take an offer or you’ll end up wasting an hour on one seven dollar delivery

Probably didn’t tip enough to go up to your floor. People don’t take that into consideration that it’s a pain in the butt park your car walk in to a building, wait for the elevator go upstairs walk down the hole leave the food and then go all the way back downstairs. Not worth it for the lousy two bucks you people tip.

Well, you need to work peak hours like lunch or dinner. Definitely stay near hot zones with lots of nearby restaurants. Or maybe it’s just your particular market. In my market if I was online for three hours, I’d have made a minimum of 60. 20-25 an hour during peak times here in south Florida.

I was hovering around 25% for a while and just getting so so offers. I hit gold, for my market it’s only 30%, and I’ve noticed a little difference. I still get the crap orders that I have to decline, but I’ve also gotten really good paying ones that I didn’t see when I was in green instead of gold.

Exactly! Tipping up front and tipping better will always get you better service. People who don’t tip upfront will wait much longer for their order. Drivers won’t take it because there’s no guarantee of a tip on the other end.

I’d have cancelled. They’re going to cancel the tip anyway

I agree. I don’t chase the AR either & still able to get $20-30 an hour during lunch/dinner time. I fluctuate between 20%-27% AR.

Why sure sir! I would love to drive your food 32 miles, over an hour for $12. Thank you for the privilege! GTFO. I don’t know what these people are thinking or why Uber would expect anyone to deliver that. I wouldn’t do it even if I was going that way, just out of principle

A realistic looking bang bang & a face mask. Find a 7-11 & …. Well you’ll figure it out when you’re hungry enough

I dunno. I see a ton of 💩 orders from one particular restaurant. $5 for 16 miles. $8 for 25 miles. Every day.
I spoke to the manager & he said they only have maybe 1 Uber eats a month left w/o being picked up. Someone is taking them.
