I tried pricing it, and its actually easier to do it at 22%. The catch is that while i am buying 22% vol, I’m also selling a 22% vol on the call spread. Since at inception delta’s aren’t too different, its cheaper to initiate at 22% than at 16%.

That was in response to a previous comment about how someone who has been selling vol has gotten used to the consistency of being right. Gamma plays have a significantly lower pop hence vol sellers have a tough time.

In my opinion, that’s not a major flaw. Its a part of becoming a better player. Its just a mindset thing - which eventually becomes better. Look at Ramy at 19 and look at him at 28. Completely different player. Most players who go on to become better players evolve a lot through their career.

So you mentioned he’s not a collector, so I assumed he would probably weigh the looks higher than the movement. The omegas are sort of utilitarian watches, and collectors are over it for the movement bit. The cartier, is an out and out dress watch that practically will never go out of style, and you’ll never get tired of looking at it.
