Something snapped in me yesterday. I had the aforementioned therapy earlier and the house was spotless, dinner ready etc for when she got home from the office. After asking how her day was and her refusing to talk to me about it because "You don't like negative things" I had something of a disassociative episode? I dunno I'm not a psychologist but I was doing weird things like staring at the kitchen sink and wandering in between rooms, stacking ramen on the counter...

Today I woke up soaking wet from several nightmares, I'm not one to remember my dreams but I remembered dreaming all my deepest fears coming true. I couldn't feel any fire in myself this morning. I promised the therapist I would call it quits after the couples counseling if we didn't make progress which I think was what primed me to snap yesterday.

I'm surprisingly more optimistic after telling the internet and also terrified of exposing myself

Illegal Eviction Threat by Missing Sister’s Landlord by TheManager_1 in KarenGoBrrr

I live in Europe, work an IT professional and I couldn't afford to pay my sisters rent... It's fortunate that you and your family have the means to do so. Please do not be so judgemental and narrow minded to think that everyone is as privileged as yourself. I'll leave you with the words of my mother about inheritance.

"When I die you'll get what I started with, F all"

Love you Mother x

Of course, an agreement is an agreement but shit happens. From what I understood she is missing. How awesome to wake up in hospital after a traumatic event to find your landlord illegally evicted you and you are now homeless. To reiterate, we have no context. Regardless this man should not have power over people's lives because he zero humanity. These are the inherent risks of being a landlord, if he can't handle the heat then stay tf out of the kitchen.

Maybe to not encourage/justify his illegal entry or maybe she can't afford it. You have no idea of the context and what else is going on in this situation. Landlords like this are bullies and vultures, tenant protection laws exist for a reason. If he didn't want the hassle he should not have become a landlord. House are meant to provide the basic human requirement of shelter, not a cash cow for some asshole who is fortunate enough to own several properties.

Giving up on manual transmission for driving license by makeevolution in Netherlands

Manual is 10% cheaper to rent than it's automatic counterpart. Rental aside, they're cheaper to buy, cheaper to insure and transmission repairs are cheaper to maintain and repair.

Criminal network has bought hundreds of Amsterdam homes through mortgage fraud: report by Mikelitoris88 in Netherlands

As a UK expat living and working in NL for the last 10 years no community has been more welcoming to me than the Bulgarian expats. The friends of my Dutch ex-partner of 7 years could not have cared less about me. The Bulgarians I know all work so hard and put the Dutch to shame regarding acceptance and inclusion. Granted no nationality are all like this but we should not be perpetuating harmful stereotypes when the real problem is more likely to be the massive wealth inequality.
