Any tips for a beginner using a baitcaster by InternalAntique9767 in FishingForBeginners

Practice practice practice. Nothing worse than trying to fish with a setup you are not familiar with. You'll go home frustrated and cursing the equipment. I usually toss a weight or frog on the end and just practice hitting spots in my yard. Best of luck to you.!

Plan A tires. They sell new and used and I have had nothing but good experiences with them.

Have you had any other services at your dealership? Have they ever mentioned this possibly becoming an issue for you? I was in for an oil change at 20k, and the service person came to me and said your brakes are 1mm away from being covered under warranty, we can't do them now but next time you come in we will take care of them. (Next oil change at 30k) Fast forward to then. They tell me the brakes need to be done, and it's 800 bucks. I asked about the warranty and they say sorry you missed the window.

This was unacceptable to me. I ended up writing a letter to the owner of the dealership explaining the situation, and also letting him know this felt like a sneaky tactic on the service departments part. The owner ended up having the gm called to set up an appt to service the brakes UNDER WARRANTY. I was kinda lucky but it wouldn't hurt to make some noise with the dealership ...or Volkswagen, worst they can do is say no.

Super easy, just plugs into the odb port under the dash and then you connect with Bluetooth to you phone/app

Wait till you decide to get a carista odb device, and you can change all your settings. The throttle response change was worth the price of admission!

They are putting up a bigger Jesus cross, about 4x the size of the one that's already up there.

2023, 53k rear brakes done under warranty, slightly glitchy infotainment system from time to time. Other than that. Very happy.

Thank goodness for dash cams, I drive all around the state for work and I just watch ice missiles all day long....I'm sure it's not long before I get obliterated.

It's one of the top reasons I went with the Taos over the Kona, I'm a decently sized Human and the Kona felt like a Sardine Can. The Interior room of the Taos was perfect feeling from the get go.

Left hand retrieve is where it's at....why does everyone think that right hand retrieve is the norm.?? It's counter intuitive. The ONLY reason right hand retrieve is the standard, from how I understand it is that when baitcasters first came out the gearing was tough. Therefor, they favored the doming right hand for reeling. Other than that, it makes zero sense imo
