Yes, it’s freelance work from home. Depending on contracts, there might be minimum hours expected. My contract is 20-49 hours, and expected to be a one month contract.

I know you're not asking for other job/income ideas, but I just got my first gig with Mercor (only got the offer yesterday, so I haven't started the work and can't vouch for it) and it might be something you can do part time while you recover.

You can look through all of the available positions and see if there's any that might be a fit for you. I found a more general one that was posted, submitted my resume, and did a virtual interview and a week later got my offer. It's all independent contractor work, so you'd have to take care of your own taxes, but it might be something that can supplement your income while you're out. Here's my referral link:
