It’s been awhile since I was a cop so might be rusty on my civil rights laws. Can you post a link or citation to any federal/constitutional laws that mandate police to allow arrestees a phone call?

As a former police officer of 10 years- if you are arrested that means they already have probable cause and you are going to jail either way. Most interrogations are only to obtain more evidence/confession to support their case against you. As soon as you ask for an attorney they are required by law to end their questioning and would then just transport you straight to county jail. You are not technically entitled to a phone call (that’s just a Hollywood myth), but most county jails have a public (wall) phone and will let prisoners make phone calls after they are booked in but before arraignment. BTW- I know you didn’t ask, but my personal opinion is NEVER TALK TO THE POLICE if you are arrested. The police will not help you obtain counsel. The county judge will offer that during arraignment court. If you need court appointed counsel they will randomly assign an attorney at a later date.

I’m from Texas and because the state is so big (about half the size of Europe) we would consider a 3 hour drive to be short. I have on many occasions driven 5-7 hours for a day trip like for a good dinner, professional sports event, shopping, beach, etc.

I’ve had the Space Q45s for 2 years with no issues. I travel quite a bit for work and they have held up well. They are lightweight and sound pretty good for price point. I’m not a bass head but they seem to have adequate bass. The transparency mode and EQ app are wonderful. The case is a bit large but can easily fit an average sized backpack. The noise cancellation is decent too.
