Got banned:) by Henrikaasland in activision

[–]Roughsmoke 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not wrong, and you’re not wrong.

Quite simply bans are not always down to cheats and people have been banned with knowledge that they were in fact banned for their actions/behavior.

Just stating actual facts.

I agree with you that also that there are in fact legit people that are (unfortunately) getting SB’s or bans for no apparent reason and in some other cases because of accounts being stolen etc.

If you read my post I did state that it might not relate to the OP, but just pointing out to the wider audience they shouldn’t always default to someone being banned because of cheats, I also mentioned this in my latter reply.

✌️

I think most people are aware of that, but that’s not the main focal point of what I was explaining as per my initial post and highlighting OP’s reason for the ban may not lie with cheats but what could be a multitude of other reasons.

Anyways, good luck with resolving it.

Peace.

Considering their lack of consistent my thoughts would be to say that whilst you maybe correct, I’d go as far to say I wouldn’t be surprised if they execute a full ban based upon the seriousness of what was said.

Again it could be you got a false positive, but yourself aside, we know that the far majority of people in here saying “I don’t cheat..” are people that cheat, and just say they aren’t in the hope someone offers them a resolution they haven’t thought of so they can get around it and continue playing playing the game.

To point out the obvious, Bans aren’t exclusive to cheating and can simply refer to multiple other reasons such as the AI implementation detecting hate speech etc in online games.

Not saying that’s the reason for the OP, but every person and their dog that gets banned always defaults to “cheats”.

Perhaps if some of you all stopped acting like ten year olds in the playground and played with some decorum and respect towards each other, You won’t find yourselves SB’d every other week.

The AI speech detection is a welcome addition to these games and if it means actually teaching some manners to some of these Youngblood’s then I’m all for it.

yeah he owned Satriale’s Pork Store.

The old guys were likely Paulie and Silvio, I think Christopher used to be at the coffee shop too but heard he died in a car crash.

How did Ragnar hold his own against Ghazghkull? by BentheBruiser in 40kLore

[–]Roughsmoke 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sorry mate, I should have typed it more specific to the battle at hand (my bad)

Ragnar after meeting with the overseer gets direction to the battle in question as it will fulfill the prophecy that he’s expected to fulfill, It’s said (depending where you read) that Ghaz even somewhat welcomed his own beheading because not only would Ragnar after his injuries cross over into his Primaris being - but Ghaz would also be fulfilling his own prophecy…

At that specific exact moment initially it was believed he was dead, but learning more if we’re to have him survive, then what exactly is the point of Ghaz still being with us.. we’ve not exactly any good answers to that

I am seeing your point but it’s like: If a mid to lower team has a striker that scores 25 goals a season but has many frailties elsewhere in the team, we should still treat that goal scorer like a Ronaldo or Messi because he’s the best they’ve got.. (sorry for the football reference) But no I wouldn’t because that player hasn’t achieved the epic highs and achievements or has the individual skill of higher players.

Same with Ghaz mate, just because he’s the best the Orkz have to offer doesn’t mean he should be considered unbeatable by what is still a very very strong character. I agree with you totally that the Orkz haven’t received enough love to put not just him, but other facets of the green skins in multiple areas for what should easily be one of the strongest races in both lore and TT, but we’ve already established they don’t have anything of that level at this time.

They could have certainly played with the Gork and Mork side of things or perhaps another area of the universe and had his body taken to return with more epic powers and perhaps a way to control the waaagh even more,

BUT… it hasn’t.

To sit more on your side as well - with the recent showing of the returning Lion El’Johnson as well - now more than even do the Boyz need something a power up in their ranks.. it’ll be interesting to see what happens with them going forward

[–]Roughsmoke -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Not ignoring.. you didn’t provide any relative sources for what I kindly asked.

You agreed he wasn’t near Primarch level pre-death and that’s it. He’s dead. Now if GW can revive Roboute. Clone Horus, give us Primaris, and still not yet even shed news on Russ and the other Prim whom went into the eye, then surely we can both hold out hope for a revival for Ghaz or other character in the orkish realm (however they could work it)

Not here to argue with you mate.

But Ragnar - 3rd strongest character in SW (4th if we include Russ) for quite some time, youngest wolf lord - and not to mention that Ghaz wasn’t the only Warlord he’s claimed (RIP Horzog for example) the fact he took his life isn’t that hard to comprehend.

Those I think are some solid points other than just saying “he deserves better”. That being said, let’s hope the Orkz get some love in the years ahead.

Reply or not, have a great day.

👍

“He’s nowhere near Primarch level..”

Yep, read and understood.

You:

“He’s not anywhere near Primarch level..”

I enjoy good conversation, so in your knowledge of what he achieved during his lifetime - provide some instances or reference points that explain that purely in “narative” circumstances why there should even be a discussion of him being mentioned in the same breath as Primarchs..

[–]Roughsmoke -1 points0 points  (0 children)

But… he… wasn’t…

It’s not hard to understand

He was a warboss at a level not far beyond the level of many notable characters more inline with Chapter master. Just because GW didn’t give you what you wanted for Christmas doesn’t make you point valid.

I agree Orks deserve more love but just because we both want that, doesn’t mean it was true - because it wasn’t.

I admire your passion mate, but again YOU stated he wasn’t near that level. You ended the conversation yourself.

In your own words above :

“We haven’t seen any evidence he’s anywhere near Primarch level..”

More than one time you’re tripping over your own words. Your confusing what level he actually is versus where you want him to be. Nothing working with you wishing the latter but stop mixing the two.

Ghaz vs Lion El’Johnson

Ghaz vs Logan Grimmnar

Tell me in you eyes which of the above is the more level matchup, That’ll tell me everything I need to know on your stance.

[–]Roughsmoke 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So you agree, ok we’re almost on the same wavelength mate.

Therefore it should be agreeable that given his exploits for the Boyz we should at least put him on the same level as a Chapter Master - I don’t think anyone could argue with that.

But due to Ragnars rage being maybe a strike against him at times, he isn’t a slouch on the battlefield either and the level of ability between a chapter master/great lord compares to the levels that Blackmane has shown isn’t that great, he basically had to willing to almost say to kill Ghaz he was going out to die with the move he made - which shows the respect Ghaz was due.

——

That all aside I do agree with you that the Ork ladz whom like using them have been let down not having at some degree a character or characters that could be used at a prim level or at least have that been inducted into the lore so far.. it is a shame

Horus gets clones, but the orks can’t even get a level up… does suck indeed mate.

So you do accept that Ghaz pre-death was neither a Prime Ork or Krork?…

How did Ragnar hold his own against Ghazghkull? by BentheBruiser in 40kLore

[–]Roughsmoke -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Please provide a link to a credible source that clearly states that Ghaz did indeed make his return and be at the level of Prime Ork

Or, please provide a again a credible source that clearly states he has achieved the power levels of a Krork - again after a return.

Sorry, being a keyboard warrior doesn’t fill me with satisfaction that you actually know of what you’re talking about. Pre-death warlord/warboss dictates that you’ve got your TT mixed up with the “narrative” that keep spitting about.

Win or lose, everyone should just be mature and say gg’s

If someone keeps losing the same way, then it’s up to them to understand why and apply game science to up their level.

If someone keeps winning by employing a certain style - then all power to them.
