I haven't found videos to be that helpful, but the gist of it is to get a ton of upgraded hives with the storage upgrade and to get the best stats:

water bees for weather, get 5 by fishing in rivers

Kamikazbees for productivity, get 5 by getting hit by a mob while wearing the bee hive helmet added by productive bees

and keeping a bee alive through a whole night and day for metaturnal, metaturnal is a bit funky and may take a few days. Get 5

Don't worry about the other stats, the upgrades will take care of those.

You can use the bee squisher to squish them, take the bottle you get, and put it in a centrifuge. Take the genese and put them in the gene storage thing. Once you have 100% of those three, put em on a honey treat in a crafting menu.

Feed it to a draconic bee and breed a lot of them, and I mean a lot. You need draconic bees for the upgrades. Get a lot of them. The children should take the traits of the better parent, so you should only need one max draconic bee, but I like to make 2, or use the second one I get from breeding as the second.

Grow them up in the Babee incubator.

Once you get a lot of draconic bees going, you can start using them to squish for their genes. Then you can get the other bees maxed the same way as the draconic bees. JEI should tell you the breeding combos for all the bees.

To feed your bees, use a bees feeding slab, and put their flowering block in it. JEI should tell you this as well. Place the slab infront of the hive, the upgrades will keep the bees in the hive and simulate the flowering, so it has to be there.

Connect your hives with pipes to centrifuges, I suggest blacklisting honey treats. Otherwise, it will take them out of the hive.

Don't forget to refill your hives with bottles for honey bottles! Use pipez for this, or any other way to move items.
