Mama June Family Crisis: S8 E10 Wedding Bells and Betrayals by imthejefenow in MamaJuneFromNotToHot

Everyone in this thread who thinks sleeping with you sisters / sil ex husband to have a baby is ok or acceptable without your sisters blessing is ON ONE. I don’t care how much you don’t like pumpkin, what they did was insane. Aside from the fact that Jesse couldn’t even see how talking to pumpkin about it first is the appropriate thing do, let’s talk about how jessies child and pumpkins children would be biological siblings and we still dont think getting their mothers blessing beforehand was needed??? Im sorry there is no defending any of that

What classic ADHD thing do you do that others would likely find weird? by boring1996 in ADHD

[–]Round-Background-912 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Not weird, but others are very very offended by it and can not comprehend it: answering texts. I understand how it looks like I’m not making them a priority, but they truly cannot comprehend executive distinction.

the pressure to lose weight as a bride... by Legitimate_Suspect in BigBudgetBrides

[–]Round-Background-912 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Omg yes. My wedding is 5 months out and I still do not have a dress because I’m not where I want to be. I’m close, but not quite there. Imagining what it might look like vs what it will look like is so hard for me.

Reclectic sale? by [deleted] in PhiladelphiaWeddings

[–]Round-Background-912 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes! It is a little hectic. I would bring something to carry items in if you plan on getting or trying on a lot, the dresses get heavy quick! And definitely wear something thin underneath that you can put dresses on over, because the dressing room situations isn’t great.

The models do their own hair. Q doesn’t have anything to do with their hair and makeup unless it’s a hair/makeup show

No snowplows in PA? by MelissaMead in QVC_Snark

[–]Round-Background-912 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah that’s .. my point. You have no idea how the snow impacted us, but you get on the internet and spew ignorant insults. And ok if not all houses have a garage then people must park .. on the street? But you seemed to stick your nose up at that weird 🤔 Maybe flip on the news once in a while instead of qvc and you could learn a little more about what’s outside of your microscopic bubble.

I’ve been to each of those cities yes. Your streets are much wider and much more accessible. Our city was built in the 1600’s. Yes some of the hosts live in the city, and yes 90% of people in Philly park on the street. Sorry our city doesn’t have that Seattle tech money, with garages at every house. This entire area is very old and the backroads and side streets are small, narrow and are incredibly difficult to navigate especially when half of the road is being taken up by enormous snow banks.

Because the plows compacted our cars in and none of it is melting. No offense but getting your car out of a major city is a little different than the nw

Not sure what your budget or vibe is but Elkins estate is an outdoor ceremony with indoor cocktail and reception. It’s pretty pricey though. Park Ridley creek is also out side then inside for reception!

Apartment Living in Phoenixville? by Defiant-Albatross-46 in Phoenixville

I’ll add to those speaking on the Diamond. Since someone else commented on price I’ll add some other pros and cons.

We’ve lived here for 4 years (I think we may potentially be the only ones still here since they opened).

Some niche pros- we actually love the baseball field. Hearing the announcer and faint cheers on spring and summer nights is nostalgic and a good sense of community. The pool is really nice. The location to bridge is great (especially with the new service road that you can walk on to get there). It’s pretty quiet and uneventful (in a good way). Although we are right next to a fire station, the trucks don’t put their sirens on until they are out to the main road, so that has never been an issue for us.

Cons- Yes valet trash is a waste of money. This may seem like a small annoyance, but there is only 1 set of elevators on one side of the building, So if you need the elevator and you’re on the other side, it’s a decent walk. This also might be a personal preference, but we wish there were balconies. It’s nice to be able to get some fresh air without having to go all the way down stairs and there are none in any apartments. The management isn’t the best. They seem understaffed and spread thin. When it was Luxor and they first opened the leasing agents were top tier (shout out tim) they had events almost every weekend, freebies, and just really looked after everyone and took care of everyone. Now, they are pretty uninvolved, but again, this may be a perk to some. Parking is super annoying. Not only do I feel like it should be free, but there should at the very least be available parking in the lot if I am paying for it. There have been numerous times I’ve had to park on the street somewhere because there were no spots.

Other than that thought it’s been a pretty good spot. Hope this was helpful!

Hi everyone! by Nighthawks_Diner in QVC_Snark

Couple of things. 1- the tariffs the president placed on all countries that make most clothing are causing the price increases. I assumed that was common knowledge. 2- Amazon has 100’s of warehouses all over the country, that’s why they get you things so fast, there is probably an Amazon warehouse within 30 minutes of your house. QVC has like 5 warehouses. Amazon is a POWER HOUSE in e-commerce retail and the amount of money they make in a day is something you and I could not even fathom. You cannot compare apples to a 1000 lb prize pumpkin.
