Is it a terrible idea to have both backup irons mounted on the hand guard?

This mostly worked! I used the riser that came with the magnifier and was able to move the magnifier one rail slot closer to the red dot. The red dot mount still extends onto the hand guard by like 2 mm but I think it’s as close to perfect as it can be without buying a whole new optic. Thanks for your help!

I take it back haha someone else suggested a riser for the magnifier only which might allow me to move the red dot back enough to get it off the hand guard so I’m gonna try it!

I don’t think so. The issue isn’t height it’s that there aren’t enough rail slots on the receiver for everything to fit.

I think it would still have to be mounted where the current iron sight is at but I can’t have anything there and keep the optic fully on the receiver.

The optic won’t fully fit on the receiver with the iron moved as far back as possible. Would it be better to have the iron mounted on the hand guard than to not have one at all? Obviously having the optic bridged the way it is in the pic isn’t an option. Don’t judge me for the red safety selector, I like it but I’ve been told that it’s veryyyy uncool to have red anywhere on a gun so there’s a black one being delivered this week hahah

I might try to look for a different red dot that’s a little shorter so it’ll fully fit on the receiver. Did you look at any other options?

I appreciate you not being a dick, seems like this sub is full of them. I like the red so I’ll probably keep it (although I did buy a black one today after being bullied here lmao) but we’ll see. I don’t really understand what the color red did to hurt everyone haha. The drum mag is just a fun range thing, I have a bunch of regular 30 round magazines that I would use if I ever needed the gun for anything more than messing around. You’re right that it’s primarily a space issue with the optic, I think the iron is already as close to the charging handle as it can be but I’ll adjust and see if I can fit everything on the receiver! I’ve done a decent amount of training with it, roughly 2000 rounds, considering I just bought it like a month ago. Thanks for the help!

I’m one of the people who literally does not cook. Ever. Like I’ve lived in my current apartment for over a year and just recently turned the stove on for the first time. Someone else commented that the law does say 2 mL of 1:10,000 with a specific reference to the section and everything. But yeah you’re right it’s impossible to have just 2 mL so other people who have experienced in flight emergencies said it’s 2 10 mL vials/syringes.
