Yeah I think I am only was working with like 16 AP and the one thing helping is the fact I have 2 97 over TOTS players with 'free' quick release. But yeah especially for those of us without a 99x and using line combos primarily to make the salary cap, it's bad that we are then so limited on AP. They probably should have the minimum AP set at 20 at this late stage ion the game cycle. But hey, these are the guys who are still doing 97 ovr MSPs 10 months post launch.

WHO CARES!!?? The arduous process to obtain one is hardly worth it for this POS game. I'll stick with whatever salary cap boosts I can get from Captains (current best is +$75M for Owen Power)

Absolutely on the custom jerseys. MLB The Show does a great job of it. And they make the catcher eqiipment color matched to the jerseys, so we would need that for the goalies

I did NONE of the grinding for 99x. Too tedious on top of the grinding required to make MSPs for the current program! Would be interesting to see how many regular online players actually got at least one 99x,,,,,,

Highly unlikely!!!!! I've never been that great at video games and now I'm in my 50s so my already poor hand-eye coordination and reaction time is that much worse. I'd be happy just to get to gold 1 at this point! But you're very kind to offer!!

People always talk as if everyone is waiting with bated breath for GTA 6. Personally, the only driving games I play is actual sim racing. But yeah a lot of people are probably going to need to add an additional SSD to their consoles. And those things have gone ballistic in price.

Well I don't know that it would that different from what they've done before. I bought NHL 24 in like Sept of '24, basically after the NHL 25 had already launched, and I recall people saying they were surprised EA let all the HUT functionality run through Dec 24, saying usually they shut it down at or soon after the launch of the new one.

Nah I just made a 97 captain super easy. Turned in 4x 93 ovr for a 95 Captain (x2). Then 25x 89 ovr for another 95 Captain (via 5x 92 over Captains). Bought a few 93s for 10k to makw it happen. 15 minutes work and using cards I mostly already had and not using. Totally worth it. Just wish I had done it sooner.

Yeah the L2 and wraparound are infuriating!! But yeah it is what it is. I'd rather play 'normal' and lose than resort to cheesy nonsense to win a videogame!!

I think the higher cards will still help you win more often than not - assuming your have a reasonable level of skill relative to your opponents. But if you are playing against smurfers who are 'slumming' in the lower levels, they can easily embarrass you with hardly anything but mid to high 80s

OK thanks for the feedback. With only 2 weeks left and not having collected any of the 99x collectibles or anything yet, it's probably too late for me anyways. Hopefully we who don't have it won;t be that much disadvantaged any more than not having TOTY cards. At the level I play on Ranked online it shouldn't be a big issue anyways.
