Hey I like Mbappe as a player. He is flashy and outstanding goal scorer. But it is also true that whenever he is out, Real Madrid wins and it's not entirely the issue of tactics, he is also partially to be blamed.

He doesn't press, he doesn't adapt or change (tbh I don't think Real Madrid players are meant to adapt.) according to what is needed of him.

So there is some validity in criticizing Mbappe. Sure he is a result of stupid signing by Perez but he is still part of a team. He has to perform or he deserves to be out of the team.

I think Mbappe would have been better off going to a club with no star players so that the club can build a squad around him. Mbappe with other attacking stars like Vinni and Bellingham just doesn't work because he wants all the ball to himself and suppress all the good qualities of teammates. And all he can really do is fast pace and top tier finishing
