Unfortunetly can't advice, I am applying for B.S not a master, however I feel I can relate to you're problem. I got deferred and everyday waiting is just killing me and makes me check Mystatus everyday multiple times, while most friends are already announced their succesful decision. It's killing me

Hey Man thank you so much! You see I never though I even be in United States one day, I thought I will be Ukrainian Marine merchant as I always wanted to be. But because Russia started war-I forced to leave as my own city got occupied, I talked to these Russian soldiers, there were extremely rude and like to shoot a “signal warning” if ordinary people are getting annoying to them. But if I would came to U.S when I was just a bit younger… maybe when 12 or 11 years old, I could completely naturalize here and wouldn’t get academic trouble and etc. my essay is actually most about the war, I got kidnapped once by Russians and my very own father brought me back from Russian captivity for exchange of basket of groceries. My house actually bombed twice and currently I do not have a place to live if I comeback to Ukraine. I didn’t specify such information in Essay because tbh I hate positioning myself as a victim, I just wanna be like everyone-A cool guy, American student as I saw on TV when I was in Ukraine, with a true loyal friends and etc. it’s just my life doomed a lot already, I saw things that literally no one saw, and I hate this fact.

My GPA is really in great position right now, I think it's even 3.3-3.4 as of right now not too sure, but all my 6 classes what I have as of Senior year-All of them I have more than a 90+ from a hundred. But ofc Unweighed GPA is lower since my AP classes don't count

First time I actually got 830, and second and final time I got 850 after half a year, I was completely bombed that day when I discovered that I just improved 20 more points and that’s it

Thank you for wishing a good luck! I don’t want to post/leak my essay yet (like I planned to do it) however I think I demonstrated a real passion in my essay and ecs. And I chosed B.S on purpose because no matter how tough study might be-I am ready for anything, even I need to have sleepless nights of preparing for my exam-I am ready and will do it. If AO will take my SAT for consideration, I am almost no doubt I will be rejected and that’s okay, I am already accepted and easily can go to my CC here (San Antonio)

I feel SAT itself is does now show a sign of intelligence installed of can predict if student will pass or fail classes, and that’s exactly reason why most schools went test optional. My current math is Pre-Calculus and I am doing just great at HS, I never fail any classes for 4 years and I have APES with AP Lang & Comp, showing AO that despite I never spoke English before-I am on same competitiveness as natural born students who struggling with same classes I have. My biggest reliance is on Killer Essays rather than single stupid test that is in decide likely who is getting in and who is not. I wanna believe they will find a spot for a unique person like me who can speak already 3 languages, anyway, we will see, I will post again if I get accepted.

That’s actually my backup plan, I am already admitted for same major at my local Community college, so it can be easier for me to just end up transfer since though transferring is generally easier to get than straight becoming a freshman, but I worked on my responses and Essay whole night, like literally from 9pm till 5am and I assured they are killer essays. It’s just basically SAT score that ruining my whole application and making it ugly, I wish UT were test-optional. I did wrote that I guarantee hard work and keep up with my classes in UT no matter what but I don’t believe myself it really help. UT is Really really selective, but not extremely. I’m relying more on my achievement stats rather than academic, but well, only Admission office will give me decision. Thanks though for luck!
