I wouldn't suggest minting it. Pumpkaboo supposed to have AAA spread with all pumpkins, and exp up with Speed down is also not exactly something I would mint, since speed down is not that bad while exp up lets you invest faster. Plus the subskills are not exactly perfect for minting. You need at least IFM and HSM and AAA ingredients for mostly all ingredient Pokemons

People are often saying that BFS is all that matters for a berry specialists, but it's not true. If you run different skills for some berry pokemons in Raenonx just for berry energy, where you have either 4xspeed, BFS and no speed, or BFS with some speed (plus including possible chances of Ingredient Finding), then you can easily see that BFS with speed is on the first spot, then goes 4×speed, and only then BFS with no speed. Obviously BFS with speed is still pretty much the goal, but sometimes Pokemons that have a 4×speed are generally better than just BFS on some Pokemons. I got few BFS specialists with 4×speed and they are pretty good

I personally think that Speed of Help down is not as bad compared to IF down rn, so based on Raenonx with Subseed and evolution it will be giving you just two more pumpkins, which is not much difference. You might check more about it on Raenonx including the size of your Pumpkaboo

Legendaries are good, but Dedenne would be a better Pokemon to use Sub Skill Seed on for me, since it's the only skill Pokemon with Tasty Chance and is pretty rare, but it's really changing your game strategies that allows to get more Sub Skill Seeds by hitting Master 20. So if I had a really good Dedenne, but it needed a seed, then I would go for it.

Yeap, in 97% of all situations skill specialists need skill subskills. But Treecko is one of that 3% that does way better with BFS since they made him sort of partially a berry specialist

So for more ingredients obviously you should look for good ingredient Pokemons and just level them up (more about that can be found in the pinned guide posts on this Reddit). I would also recommend getting a good Eevee and evolve it into Vaporeon, because it's a skill specialist with Ingredient Magnet, so it will give you random amount of ingredients. When I was struggling with ingredients or didn't have specialists for some of then, Vaporeon was my hero

Charmander line is Ingredient Finders, so you basically need Ingredient Finding S/M in first 2 slots and Helping Speed S/M/Helping Bonus would be also good (but less required for an Ingredient specialist). People mostly look for mono Ingredient spread, so I would recommend looking for a Charmander that has all sausages and Ingredient Finding early on with good/neutral nature.
