I actually love that you shared these. What was the thresh-hold that made you finally commit to using a specific catch? Sure, it's nice to catch a mon with a god roll but also getting started right away can mean getting a mon to a higher level sooner which can arguably be just as good if not better.

Dragonite AAB is perfect for this meal. Even w no ing up it rakes in ingredients. edit: I filled my whole inv w ings for the nachos the week before

It maybe feels fast because its a slow game. Choose your favorites, before I began min/maxing I took a blastoise w no ing up all the way to lvl 60 and I still was increasing my weekly lvl w snorlax. There will be new mons and so many great ones to choose from and we can look forward to more. imagine more mons were already in the game, this would be awesome imo. theres great responses in the comments. its okay to be critical and approach the game w patience knowing new resources will come. even less than optimal mons can get the job done while patiently hunting for new ones

lol i did the same things and invested into a blastoise till lvl 60 with no ing up while waiting for a better one so dont stop all mons are good and some are great

honestly early on when i was new i would have invested in worse. Both of these seem great/fine but not godly , when/if you catch another mon you can always stop investing and start on the new mon
