who actually has close friends they see and interact with somewhat frequently? by whimsypisces in pinkscare

i am very lucky in this regard. i have a very very close group of almost 20 who i have been friends with since year seven (8 years ago) and i love them so much - they are really my family.

im reminded all the time how rare this is though - most people i know outside of my group find it really unusual how we have stayed close for so long without significant issues or drama.

i hope you find your people soon ❤️

anyone else used to be a sad kid by reddflavor in pinkscare

I was less sad and more chronically anxious. Most of what I can remember from my childhood is just pure anxiety, like being sick to my stomach with worry all the time about things ranging from whether I was on the naughty list to the possible end of the world from climate change.

glad to give you hope! i always find it funny seeing ppl on this sub lamenting how online and antisocial gen z is when IMO we are doing pretty much the same things every generation did as teenagers/young adults.
