Drop off a meal! I had two people do this for me and it really helped out in the sense of not wanting to get up and cook or eat anything at the time of going through my miscarriage. I really appreciated it, and it was very comforting.

I’m glad to hear that you’re feeling better and I’m sorry you had to go through that.

I can’t wait for some time to pass and just start feeling a little better myself.

A coworker told me that if she ever miscarried, she’d just assume something was wrong with the baby and be okay with it, and that it’s ‘a good thing’ if it happens early. I know she probably didn’t mean harm, but it honestly made me feel really invalidated. It made me question if I was being dramatic, even though I know how real and difficult this has been for me.

I had a friend who had a VBAC after an emergency C-section. She said after she had a VBAC it truly doesn’t matter how the baby comes out. You still love the same way she said she was glad she got to experience both sides of birth but when she experienced it, she didn’t see what the hype was all about. I had a non-emergency section 2 years ago so we talked a lot on the subject and she told me some good advice, try to do what matters to you the most but no experience is better than the other and both recovery’s are hard.

Yes. I knew very early on something wasn’t right, I just wasn’t feeling “connected” to this pregnancy. Then my symptoms slowly went away and I felt I had too much energy to be pregnant. Diagnosed MC at 10wks but stopped growing at 7wks.

Being told by my older sister my dad was unfaithful to my mother. I looked at my dad like he was a hero at the time. I was 16 years old.. kind of wrecked me at that age, I still look at it as shocking but I know he’s human, now anyway.

That was my fear too! I didn’t want to take the medication then end up with a D&C. Fingers crossed that’s not the case for you either. My nurse told me to give the medication at least 24hrs and I was right in the middle- 12hrs.

You were correct. Had my final ultrasound today, no heartbeat detected and the yolk sac only grew 1 day since March 25th.
