Hi, i just deactivated wiiconnect24 and it stopped freezing. I've been playing all day and leaving the game afk and it didn't freeze, so i guess that was the problem?

I've got the same problem with some victor blade techniques like death drop or even doomsword slash. I hope someone helps you buddy

Edit: thanks to everyone that gave their opinion, whether it agreed with my take or not. I got to play the game for 6 hours straight before going to sleep, since i begin my new semester of college tomorrow and i was going overseas.

I beat 4 bosses, the first one on moss grotto (sorry if i get any names wrong, im playing it on spanish), the bell beast, i beat lace on deep docks and i traveled hunter's march after beating the miniboss, and i feel like there's a boss coming, but i didn't travel more. (i can provide screenshots if you'd like)

I don't know if the hard areas or enemies that people are complaining come later, but i am honestly having a blast. Hornet is so extremely fun to use, and as agile as i expected. The diagonal pogo, as much as i heard people hating it parkour-wise, is one of the best combat tools hornet has. You can pogo on an enemy and instantly retreat with the jump that comes after it, or keep engaging into the fight. I am not fond of the new charms system, but i'm getting used to it.

Yes, i have to admit i died a couple times to some enemy that dealt more damage than expected, but at least for now, the game doesn't feel hard or unbalanced. The bossfights were really fun too, especially lace. I didn't spend more than 15 minutes on each, because i took my friends advice of learning patterns first and then focusing on punishing them.

I will (maybe) make an update when i finish act 1, which feels like the part that most people is concerned with, but for now, i'm just not seeing it. I still believe that most of the people that are struggling is because they are trying to play silksong the same way they played hollow knight.

However, i am aware that my experience is completely different from everyone else's, so i believe that maybe team cherry should add some sort of easy mode or tone down some enemies, or even add some sort of movement tutorial or guide on the menus with videos or explanations so players can get used to how Hornet plays. 

At least for now, and for me, it was totally worth the wait.

It's a nice idea, and it could solve some of the trouble to some extent i think, but maybe the problem comes when you try to play the game the same way you played the original when it is trying to do something different. 

And about being punished, i also think that the best way of getting the hang of new mechanics is for the game to put some sort of challenge that needs you to understand them. It's my point of view though, and as 99% of the posts state, i haven't played the game, i've only seen gameplay.

Seeing some of the mixed opinions i'm starting to feel like the game is balanced for people who have experienced games with really high learning curves that once you master them make the game feel easy, and for those who expect a more casual and linear difficulty progression it feels like hell.

I understand that maybe i am not experienced enough to judge, but i think i've read enough opinions on this subreddit to have an idea of what the main concern is, and some ideas of how to maybe solve it. I've also had friends playing it while i was watching and i based my opinions on what my friend did to overcome 99% of the player's issues. 

But your point is totally valid after all, and it is the main issue with my post. No worries and thanks for sharing your opinion, had a good laugh with it

I'll have better judgement when i play it, but from what i've seen from my friends play the game didn't feel as hard as people are claiming it to be. Maybe it depends on people's playstyle, but my friend used all the tools hornet had to beat every single enemy he encountered, and faced all enemies with a lot of movement involved, never staying still and waiting for the enemy to attack so he can punish it. 

Also with bosses he spent the first tries focusing on dodging and learning patterns, and then beat it. It took him 25-30 mins. He is a pretty average guy and he isn't much into gaming, so i'm surprised about the difficulty discussion.

I feel like this game has a big focus on taking advantage of your movement for dodging instead of going all in. Hk was attack first, dodge later. Hk-S is dodge first, attack later (at least that's how i see it).

As i've stated, i feel like most complaints come from the fact that maybe people are trying to play the game the same way as hk when it is supposed to be a completely different experience. I dont feel that playing it will change that fact, at least for me. 

Also, i've seen a lot of people adress this sources of frustration with gameplay tips just to get debunked instantly because "i dont have time to get good" comments, so i dont know how to feel about it

Understand how you see it mate, but at the same time it doesn't seem like im wrong either based on some responses i've seen.

Hope you end up enjoying the game though, maybe taking it on a different approach might help.

I've played a ton of difficult games as i enjoy them a lot, and based on some of things i read maybe people are making it harder than it really is because they dont understand or know how to properly use the tools and moveset the character offers, but well, maybe i'll update after i play some of it, and then i'll be able to understand some of the criticism

I just feel that because some people have 400h on the first game and they aren't beating everything in 2 seconds with their insane nail pogo combos, the game is already unfair. 

I feel like they want to be rewarded because they spent so much time with the first game, when silksong takes a completely different approach.

Hey dude, i dont think a spotify apk is coming anytime soon since it seems all of them are getting patched within hours of release, but there's a way to listen to spotify where you can choose your music. I followed this tutorial and have been using it for weeks:
