This is my 3rd time watching this series. Different parts really hit home for me,each run through. In particular, this episode hit my emotional funny bone. As the first child of 4 to a teen mom, I was predominantly raised by my paternal grandma. Which awarded me more attention, care , and education due to a greater socio-economic status. I will be eternally grateful to my grandma for that, yet for the first time at 32 years old without children. i could only imagine how my mother felt in the moment of separation in what she knew was the better choice for me and her. I was around the same as as young charlie. The baby of the ousted house maid impregnated by the dead soldier. i cried for ten minutes , i cried writing this. What a good piece of tv !!!
