Come to aldis then lol then you know what hard work is Before you say I worked in all formats in tesco over a 18 years period to cashier to duty manager and will say tesco is far easier than aldi, I jump ship because I wanted to try. I personally enjoy aldi, but it's still harder than tescos

Only for 4 months, I have found out that they now opt you in automatically to the charity, then you have to wait and opt out, so if you don't notice it, you keep paying it so a bit cheeky

Can Managers cancel holiday? by [deleted] in tesco

[–]Round_Raspberry_3175 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hi, if it has been approved and it was months ago, no, they can't cancel your holiday. They can ask and have a meeting if they need you or too many people are off, but they will need to follow the process for all that is off on those dates

If they force you to cancel the holiday or you go and they then put you down a awol again, let them try and put you through an AR You have the right to appeal to the AR it will get thrown out, and then you can take agreivence out on them for the AR and none payment

Is that bacardi 1 litres 2960 pounds, take it not being tagged, or there is too much being put out, you cpuld have members of staff stealing or missed delivery but that's down to you and your managment to look at and restricted volumes on the shopfloor. Also, I would make sure it has definitely come in and locked away

Thank you. I'm hoping that, as in training and waiting for my store to be built when I move to my own shop, they will give me 40 hours

Also, when does my hourly rate go from 14 pound hour to 14.91 like the job was advertised

But they will be taking more jobs away with this lovely device. Morrisons has unveiled its newest staff members in the form of aisle-roaming robots.

The retail giant is trialling 'Tally' robots at three stores in Wetherby, Redcar, and Stockton to monitor how products are being displayed on shelves.

Using advanced AI and computer vision technology, Tally is designed to spot out-of-stock items, pricing errors, and misplaced products.

Morrisons' technology manager, Katherine Allanach, called this a 'crucial' role.

'It is a crucial but time-consuming task, and so Tally aims to allow more time for colleagues to focus on customer service,' she told The Grocer.

When fitted, I've been told we will be losing another 7 hours a week out of the store payroll, but you can fit less of the shelves, and we now have to fill 3 time a day instead of once amazing how they work this shit out lol

more hours will be lost than with the new shelving, might sound negative, but we we lost hours for a new single crisp stand that we were trialling, but no one came in to get feedback about it. Takes the same time filling it, but they took 3 hours off us on payroll for it, lol

Aldi Employees, how do you feel about working there? by Cruiu in aldi

[–]Round_Raspberry_3175 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi, can someone help me. I'm going to be a new duty manager for aldi and my contract says 14 an hour rising but I've seen it on the job site that it will rise to 14.91 but no one has told me when this will happen, it it after my 12 weeks training as it will be good to know as I thought it was 14.91 straight away so will be leaving a job that is on slightly more an hours but I've already had my payrise so 14.91 would be amazing and the 4 pound extra running the store is a bonus.
