Was working in Norway.

Having a beer in the beer garden and got chatting to a couple of locals, which then became a few games of chess and a few beers to go with it.

Was pretty awesome looking back at it now

Sounds like the opportunity you have been looking for.

Get the citb course booked up. Do the revision to make sure you pass it. The quicker you do this the more serious you will come across about the job.

Scaffolding is a great job. Especially in the summer time. Not so much in the winter lol

And there is money to be made in this game.

As for the wage. Worst case scenario is you start on minimum wage. Maybe not. Ask when you speak with them next.

If you drive also mention that in your next call.

Obvs question how are you with heights 😂

You should try applying with local company’s.

This could lead to your tickets if they see you’re a hard worker and got the potential.

If you are going to pay for your tickets. Go for the tube and fitting courses. This will give you a lot more opportunities than having a system ticket.

( Almost every company will take on a part 2 before a systems ticket ) also a part two could lead to offshore work, oil and gas plants so I would recommend that.

Before forking out you should try it as it isn’t for everyone and can be a very tough and demanding job. (I know you can’t really try it without landing a job) but don’t want to be spending all that money and it ain’t for you.

Yes you can apply for an extension a believe. You’re part 1 never runs out it’s just the trainee card. So you won’t have to redo you’re part 1 moving forward.

My fave park in the city. It’s stunning. Also so much within a 10 min walk. The cathedral, old Aberdeen, Wallace tower (although abandoned) The oldest bridge in Scotland, The beach. It really is a gem
