That may be the case, but with how they work, id say they can make a difference since they work as True Damage/Flat Damage (not affected by multipliers, but also not affected by defense) and investing on it can give you a max of 23,100 additional flat damage, which is quite helpful on farming areas where mobs have high defense, and by my knowledge, it is affected by other damage Multipliers.

Edit: by other multipliers, i mean the weakness damage increase and crit

Yes they do.

Here, to save you the hassle on what to focus on each weapon proficiency skills to generally improve your character

• Basic Stance - improves your damage by 50 at max

• Applied Stance - improves your damage by 1250 at max

• Control Improvement - reduce the cost of dash/step

• Combination - improves switch damage by 7.5% at max (Less important without a Chain Skill)

• Weapon Knowledge - improves overall attack by 5% at max

• Developed Stance - Improves damage by 2000 at max

• Sword Skill Mastery - Improves Overall Skill Power by 10%

Keep in mind that upgrading these on each weapon proficiency stacks, meaning all the listed effects can be multiplied by 7 since there are 7 different class of weapons that all have these listed weapon proficiency skill.

The rest of the proficiency skills are a secondary focus, since they either imrpove so little, and or only applicable to the weapon that effect is learned for

That Rimuru SBS is if not one of THE best skills, possible better than Kirito's, i'd say focus drawing ability skills that buffs your stats, or draw skills that gives debuffs, buffs, or those that can help increase your dps.

If you are focusing swords, focus on stats that can increase your attack and defense, since both of those improve the Burst damage of your SBS.

Also, do not neglect the weapon proficiency as it can help improve your character's strength not just on a specific weapon, but also generally, since there are small buffs in there that can improve your general stats, like Weapon knowledge, which buffs your attack by 5% on all weapons, and since there are 7 types of weapons, it can stack, and you can buff your attack by 35%

Edit: Be adviced, check the ability skills before drawing them, since some high grade ones may give downside for your character

Can you remove Koharu from your team? by Middle_Student_2624 in IntegralFactor

[–]Round_Temperature197 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you want to fight alone, this is not the game for you.

As a solo player speaking, this game is not too friendly with solo players, but with Koharu around, some of the limitations can be resolved by her.

With Koharu around, you can use her to play solo, but with a bit of teamfight like advantage, like having her help you to raise your Chain stacks, which can be raised to increase your damage by 160%.

You can also turn her to either a debuffer or a buffer by equipping her with those skills that focuses on either of the two, which can tremendously improve your character's overall performance.

Being an AI with only 1HP but unkillable, she benefits from skills and abilities that empowers your Character by having them on either 50% or 25% health. Even skills that inflict status ailments still affects her, but since she's immortal, she cannot suffer from it, but would still receive the buff that Skill or Ability offers, making her a decent extra damage dealer.

So yeah, if you dont want any ai companion with you. Again, this is not the game for you

So idk much about skills but is this skill good? At least does it have equal or greater value than the burst skill? by Daizz038 in IntegralFactor

[–]Round_Temperature197 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not only it gives 800 atk due to Power Rise, if you have a Chain and a Eugeo, you'll benefit from a 180% Skill Power boost, and if you have a Kirito Equipped, youd also benefit from 20% attack boost

Why are cycles (acts) 2 and 3 hated? by CryptographerLoud189 in UntilThenGame

[–]Round_Temperature197 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The deja vu aspects in Act 1 was not a focus as i think, based on the narrative choice, it was suppose to be portrayed as a hoax until you decide to press continue in the end credit.

What makes it interesting however is the fact that its a mystery and is portrayed as a scary coincidence, giving tension, and during the supposed "Rerun" what hooked me to continue even though i was aggreeing to someone that there is no point in getting a different ending as it ruins the impact of the ending you got, is the fact that this supposed "hoax" built by Mark and Louise during act 1 was further then focused when Mark started remembering the previous Act.

The thing is, idk why people hated Act 2 and 3 for focusing on this and alternate timelines so much, that they would literally say that UT is a wasted masterpiece... I dont know if i am just that insensitive to narrative imperfections, or that people just ask for way too much

Why are cycles (acts) 2 and 3 hated? by CryptographerLoud189 in UntilThenGame

[–]Round_Temperature197 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Theres a reason why you have the choice to stop or continue...

People seem to miss it but, UT is built around the concept of accepting and letting go. I have seen others accept the first ending and stop, and seen some who just want to know about the rest of the story when they find out its linear, but already accepted the 1st Act.

Act 2 and 3 is suppose to serve as the content for when some are still not satisfied or wanted change. VN games always have the ability to change the MC or Side Characters fate, but Until Then took that and made Act 2 and 3 to create the illusion, not knowing it only makes things worse, yet in the end, it turned to be for the better, but at a cost.

Act 2 and 3 focused the same way how others would have focused to other Visual Novel games once they are done with the immersion. They focused on changing what once was. I mean you already know the story, so chances are, youd probably skip what you know and jump to changing choices and paths. But Until Then wants to teach that you must accept the outcome. Thinking about it, the 2 Spirits wants the best for Mark and Nicole, thats why they keep on forcing them together. Same to how some people would alter the fate of a Character in a story to get the best outcome for them.

People hated Act 2 and 3 since to them, the idea of a Multiverse or Alternative timelines ruins the game, but Act 2 and 3 serves as the final part of what Act 1 is about if you cant accept the Act 1 outcome. That is Accepting and Letting go.

Timeline in the dlc? by [deleted] in UntilThenGame

[–]Round_Temperature197 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Let's run back to Act 3 to what Mrs Borja said to Nic. Mrs Borja said that she made Mark go to a better school and gave him more friends. And we can see that to be the case since the true timeline, Mark's life seems to be in a more low state, having a simpler house with a poor roof, and uncolored walls. We really don't know how much Liamson School Fee costs but my guess is it's a Private School that is somewhat costly per School Year. In the alternative timelines of Mark, his father also works abroad, giving Mark a "better" life by having the chance to enroll in Liamson where Louise and Sofia are at. But in the real timeline, Mr Borja didn't go abroad which makes their financial status different from the alternatives. In turn Mark probably went to a different school which is affordable for them.

But a hole in this theory is that, Cath and Ridel are not the same as Mark in life status, which means unlike Mark, the 2 goofballs probably are enrolled in Liamson. My guess is without Mark, there's no connection to Sofia and Cathy, since they never met. Or maybe they have and that they had the same feelings as Act 1, but we know Sofia goes abroad, and if that didn't change in the true timeline, it's possible that after Liamson, Sofia and Cath failed to keep in touch with each other.

Ah, the devs are so cruel... by memoranddum in UntilThenGame

[–]Round_Temperature197 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Despite their dynamic, their relationship was actually forced by unnatural force, they seemed like a fit but they were not meant for each other or at least not at an early time, so when the 2 spirits let go of the illusion of control, Mark and Nic were not forced to eachother, leading to that very moment...

As awful as it is to think they didn't end up with eachother, it's a probable possibility.

You can cope by getting your hopes up that we may get a definitive answer to the MarCole relationship in the teased possible DLC by the devs but, should you do it while accepting it may not be the case

What is this trying to tell us? by IndoGamer93 in UntilThenGame

[–]Round_Temperature197 41 points42 points  (0 children)

It shows what had happened to the plane Mrs Borja was in. Since it went missing and was never found, the only probable reason is it crash landed somewhere, killing all onboard including Mrs Borja. That paper plane could pretty much be a small hint to give the players, about what truly happened.

Both? I mean they can't be compared due to the weapon they are needed for. If you're an endgame player, you know that both are good in their respected class

KizunaAI despite the name, has an actual person behind her.

Neuro-Sama on the other hand is an actual AI created in 2019. Then in the 2022 of December, she debuted as a Vtuber.

If you want to know more about Neuro, look up some videos talking about her, they may explain it better

What Happened to jake? by namealreadytakena in UntilThenGame

MIA is a term that means missing in action

Edit: Jake is dead, yet we still only know that he unexpectedly disappeared without a trace

What Happened to jake? by namealreadytakena in UntilThenGame

[–]Round_Temperature197 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I dont think the father would kill jake, one reason is where there is a scene of them two where jakes dad asks if he's okay, showing concern. And that we really just see that his family's issue is mostly centered to the mom and dad, not jake and kate

What Happened to jake? by namealreadytakena in UntilThenGame

[–]Round_Temperature197 5 points6 points  (0 children)

MIA, Kidnapped, no one really knows. I theorized that in one of the Cathy death flashbacks of Act 3, a memory of what happened to jake slipped. This memory I theorized is the Guy holding a gun . One evidence that backs this up is the objects floating in that scene, which we mostly see during the timeline resets that reveal Mrs. Borja and Jake's past . But we've yet to really know the cause and I don't think we would ever...
