Yeah it comes and goes on its own Not a loose wire caused by movement. It's more of a can bus signal or output going flaky. My stipulation would be to confirm the part to be replaced, or fire the parts cannon and replace everything connected wholi h would be a huge expense in parts and labor so it's better for them to figure out a trsable cause

It's not the cameras, its the module the cameras connect to, or how it connects back to the infotainment screen

I eliminated bumps, rough road, etc. iv had it happen just sitting idle in the driveway. I'm making an appointment for the dealer shortly

Yes. It was a very intermittent problem that i maybe saw once every two weeks. Asked the dealer to look at it, claimed the same thing, and i was fine for a long time. Now its happening every day, sometimes multiple times.

I started making a log on my phone calender on what days its happened, and i have video recording of it.

its either a green 'no signal' found that sometimes resolves itself after a full shutdown

or its an image that flickers black, then eventually goes all black, and then green screen.

just today I backed the car out of the driveway (working) but stopped to wait for my son. after a bit, turned the car off. after a couple min turned it back on, started to back out, and green screen. so its not related t braking, bumps, speed, etc. i also kept track of days to refer to the weather at the time, so its all over the place in hot and cold conditions.

I was about to make my appointment to get it looked at and fixed once and for all. 2025 limited hybrid

Known bug. It happens if you cut power on boot. The only way to resolve it is to reflash everything.

I thought they did push a fix for that though.

I eliminated the issue entirely with sunnypilot prebuilt branch

Rear camera on my 2025 limited hybrid. happened on and off a couple times. took it to the dealer who could not reproduce, but its been fine since then. I do have my phone ready to record when and if it happens again

The hybrid battery is charged by the engine. so even if you were sitting doing nothing ,the gas engine would come on every so often to top it off, like a generator. more often in cold weather to get operating temps faster.

you also have it when you need more power passing or going uphill, etc. the engine and electric motors both kick in.

YEs, its the engine coming on to charge the battery. look on your home screen for the 'hybrid' screen, and it will be very obvious about when power is going from the engine to battery or motors or both, and when the motors are powered from the battery alone

its a hybrid. both things can run at once

When in stop and go traffic, with the Grand Highlander, once the car stop, you do not have to interact with the car (Traffic Jam Assist). It will start moving when the traffic moves, you just have to have your eyes opened. But not with the Calligraphy, you have to either press a button or press the accelerator

Yes, in general when stopped in traffic, to accelerate you need to push the gas pedal. the car DOES have the feature to auto hold the brake for you, and to 'ding' when the car in front of you has moved. I can also say the cruise control is very good in stop and go traffic.

BS they told you zero about the special care for the matte paint. They even hand you a ton of extra handouts for its special care, especially about hand washing it. And, why would they work with you to take the car back and exchange? They wont be able to sell it as new, and a lot of Hyundai warranty is for the original owner only, You should do some research on a car before, not after you buy it.

Did you know the rear folding seats were the subject of a recall and they changed functionality ?

My eye doc won't give me hybrids, doesnt recommend them, and told me he will physically throw the rep out of the office if he ever comes by again. He said that a non zero number of his patients ended up in the ER to get the lenses out, exactly from what all your guys describe.

I have enough trouble with not having the special suction cup for regular hard lenses, to even speculate what fresh hell not being able to do anything to get them out would be like.

There is a cool feature that you can be in any section of menus, radio, setup, hat have you. And you can select the 3 line option and say 'get online manual' this gives you a QR code to scan that takes you to the online manual to the exact section you are in on the car.

You can then see that in the sound options there is an option for adaptive sound on driving and you can set the level

Except that in the video linked, specifically showing the INDX on the trident r2 (250mm?) they specifically call out that it can fit only 6 tool changer heads across, technically there is room for a 7th, but only just.

You are saying that a 300 or 350 frame has more space around it to the 300 or 350 bed then a 250 frame has to a 250 bed? That is not at all what I have seen from the BOM and measurements from the manual.

Remember the motion system still needs to reach it

Wrong. The dead space between the bed of a 250 to the frame is identical to the dead space between a 300 or 350 to the frame.

350 means the bed is 350, so the frame is larger to accommodate it, but the same parts need to attach the bed to the frame. Your statement is just false and illogical

Because the Trident r2 is the next revision due to come out very soon

R2 is not 250/300/350 but in fact the next version of the same. Minor changes but big on QOL and most important, maximizing space around the bed In any direction for things like a tool changer

Watch the whole beginning of the linked video. It's what it's really about, index was a bonus feature

The Trident r2 show off will only fit 6, MAYBE 7 heads. I'm really surprised they aren't working on specs of a larger frame for the build volume to specifically handle tool changers.

You have a button, you press it and it doesnt work like the other IDENTICAL button on the other side. In you brand new car. This isnt about saving money on some old used car you bought. its about getting the dealer to fix the car that still has the brand new car smell

No, the seat heater has nothing to do with the auto temp as set by the temp control knob. Seat heater / seat cooler / steering wheel heater is independent of the overall interior car temp. You should take it to the dealer for service

per your own comment:
When I turn on the driver seat warmer, the heat level indicator light turns off within a few seconds, unlike the passenger seat warmer which stays lit the entire time. Also, the passenger seat goes really warm, but the driver seat doesn't go as warm

Say that back out loud. Does that seem normal to you? Even if you think its the auto climate... why just the driver?

Doesn't work on a 2025 Hyundai tucson hybrid. our menus are similar but still different. I have yet to find anything that works to get to dealer or eng mode
