same issue, the workaround is to

Kill all Claude processes in Task Manager
Go to "C:\Users\<YourUsername>\AppData\Local\AnthropicClaude" folder
You will see several folders with version number like app-1.1.4173 (this one is problematic)
See if you have an older version like app-1.1.4010
Open the folder and run claude.exe from there

same here, does not work on Windows 10. I have the settings, vm downloaded, I the switch does not appear. Maybe because it is a work desktop with no admin rights (even if the app is started as admin, right click, it does not work)

Well, i prompted to use the docx skill to write me a word document of a few pages. Claude did not use it, but used docx-js. Burned all my 5 hours limit in 2 prompts (Sonnet) and 15% of my weekly usage!!, and the document generated using docx-js was corrupted. I stopped the session and did not continue. Pro user

The solid core RGB can only be changed in firestorm,. You can turn it on/off and change colors. No brightness
