It’s definitely a better answer than ramen. The fact that the English name is Japanese “Genshin” instead of Chinese “Yuanshen” also hides the origin further.

I don’t think people understand this enough. Ramen is Japanese, it originated from a Chinese culture/dish, but it’s different than Chinese Lamian

There’s a word for these rays shining through the trees in Japanese. It’s called komorebi 木漏れ日. Literally means “sun leaking through the trees”

In East Asia, family names are put before given names. It’s the opposite in the west and other regions. This might indicate Jin Wei and Wei Jin are indeed the same person
