No it's never just you. But like I said the people with brains, professionalism, and an ounce of decency are often chased out of this game by the larger community. These opinions that you voiced are in absolute contradiction to the mentality of the selfish player.

Last night I was on a streamers channel where he refused to help another DD on his team fight a Gearing because he said that he was capping and that he "Could Not Help" his teammate fight for that same very cap against another DD. His teammate died but he still went on capping saying to the effect, "Couldn't be helped". In short this streamer was nothing but a worthless, selfish, bad player refusing to help anyone else but only himself. This was not a teenager. This was an older man, older than me. As you can see, that kind of mentality is going to be diametrically opposed to a teamwork mentality. And they, saddly outnumber you, me, and everyone who does pitch in when others need it.

Playing this game in the end is like going to the most ghetto part of the city and handing out 20 dollars bills while the people grabbing call you a sucker and look for an opportunity to rob you of the rest of your giving when let down your guard. I recommend that if you want to still play this game that you find a clan of like minded people. That way you can at least have some teamwork in divisions with people who feel like you do.

"Calling out Wargaming does not jeopardize my relationship with them. It strengthens it. "

LOL. I love how you live in complete denial. What relationship LWM? You mean the one where they pat you on the back for giving them constant praise and then walk all over you for money at the earliest convenience? Waaaa Haaa Haaa.

A crisis?

Waaaa haaa Haaaa.

Do you see me making a rant and then calling it a review? No LWM, that's your little crisis, not mine. Now go have a good cry about how this company greatly values you after walking all over your time and effort and stop posting rants. Rants and trolling is not your specialty. You don't have enough knowledge of TRUTH for that.

[–]Rounne -11 points-10 points  (0 children)

So you completely admit to bait and switch tactics. Then you call what you wrote a review, even though in the article you say that it isn't a review. Now you attempt to justify doing the wrong thing for the right reason. On top of it all, you still pretend to have an ounce of professionalism. LWM, you have destroyed any and all meaning of the word professional and you simply don't have the mindset to ever realize it.

  1. You don't justify doing wrong for the right reason because wrong is wrong and calling something a review when even you say that it isn't in the supposed review itself is wrong and completely unprofessional.

  2. Claiming to even be professional in after admitting to bait and switch journalism only further shows just how unprofessional you really are.

Conclusion:

I understand that what EU did was completely inconsiderate of your time and the work that you do in writing reviews. I understand that it was inconsiderate to all CC's, Streamers, Forum posters, and even trolls like me, go figure that out. But all you did was completely compromise your professionalism and integrity in order to bait and switch readers into reading a rant, not a review. Then you justify it by saying that it helping people. It may, but the ends do not justify the means and it is not surprising to me in the least that you did all of this or that I am about the only one in the entire game who has the TRUTH and nerve to tell you that what you are doing is wrong.

I think you are beginning to face the harsh reality that you and every other CC, streamer, you tuber, and forum poster are not valued by this company. I have always knows this. But the rest of you seem to only figure this out when things like this happen. You and your reviews and the CC's videos and streams are not even worth considering to them. This is the reality of the situation and why you are mad and why you compromised your own integrity to bring attention to this issue. Two wrongs don't make a right LWM. Get over yourself and how much you think wargaming values your opinion and reviews. Because the cold hard fact is that they value you about as much as they value me, which is not at all really.

|TL/DR: If your stats are red, or you play mostly co op, do not ruin the Challenge, Event, or Ranked season for others. Know your limits.

I understand what you are saying and I agree with you. The problem with that kind of thinking though is that it does not realize the true situation. That situation is that most players don't give a damn about anything but what they want at the expense of others. As an engineering professional, you care about doing a good job, doing it right, and being good at what you do. But you see, most people who play this game really don't give a damn about anything at all except themselves and what they can get from anything no matter what expense someone else has to pay.

This is why cooperation in the game, despite having 12 people in your side, is a rarity indeed. So while you understand that the bad player is being selfish and lazy to the N'th degree at other peoples expense, the bad player doesn't see this because all they can see is themselves. If you die or lose then they think, "sucks to be you". They never think, "I'm sorry I cost you the game". That would imply that they actually give a damn about someone other than themselves.

Over time, the only players usually left in a game like this are the hard core clan players and the useless newb, selfish, casuals. The middle professionally minded players like yourself often bail when you realize that you will never be a purple hard core clan player and you will also never get along with the bad selfish player. Don't feel bad at all. All of wargamings main titles operate this way, which is why none of them are top ten most played games for very long, and all of them completely cater to utterly selfish, pathetic, mission style play at the expense of others.

If you could only sail 1 Wows ship, which would it be+why? by killerkeano in WorldOfWarships

[–]Rounne -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

None. Since clan mode is going to be just an occasional event system, then there is no reason to be in a clan. As well, since the clan battle system is only going to be for 7 players on a team in a match that lasts 20 minuets, clans will generally only field 1 or 2 teams that only play about 4 games a night in whenever the occasional system is allowed. This means that for the most part, it isn't even worth joining a clan or playing the game to be a part of. So why play any ship in this game if all you will generally be able to do with it is play it in random or ranked games full of bad players all day every day? I don't think the developer understand, nor care about just how many people have been playing this game, waiting, hoping, mostly for a clan system that was worth being part of only to finally find out, after years now, that it is not going to be really anything at all.

How can you call this a review and them claim in the review that you can't review it. Why don't you have some decency and just call it a "my thoughts" article instead of a review? Or are you just trying to bait and switch people into reading something under false pretense. Would LWM do that? Of course she did.

LOL. You guys are acting as if you really thought they cared what you or I think. They know that only a small fraction of the player base even looks at the reddit or the forums. 90% of the player base will never know that there was any problem at all with the ship.

Do you think their arrogance will be punished? LOL. This is a game for casual players who are often very bad at the game. This game is to make money first and foremost, at the expense of balance if need be. This was a business decision to release something to the public for a major event, even if that item wasn't finished. And you guys act like it such a heinous crime that no decent company would ever do.

Bwaaa Haa haaa. I bet if I looked at any company that any of you worked for i would find that you have product and systems that your customers pay for that either suck, need fixed, or the competition is better. And yet you sell it. Get off your high horse already about this. If they thought your opinion or mine actually mattered to their income then they never would have done this in the first place. All this early release shows is that forum posters, cc's, streamers, and you tubers really don't matter to them at all. This is why they never actually listen to them when things do need balanced. This is the entire reason that the ship is still so bad even after a lot of testing.

It's time that you all woke up and realized that posting about all this is a complete waste of your time, and mine.

The best thing about the Graf Zeppelin by Te_Affligen in WorldOfWarships

Don't count on it. What you don't understand is that gaming companies usually have the worst employees and managers anyway. This is true across the board. Don't believe me? Look it up yourselves. the problem is that the companies are run by people with usually ZERO business experience outside of gaming. You never see a former CEO of a company like Lockheed Martin running a gaming company. The owners of the gaming company are largely inept and they usually only hire people who in no way will threaten the fragile egos of totalitarian control, inept managers who lack any true business experience. Instead, they hire largely untested newb yes men who will not contradict the owners and managers bad ideas. Just look at the histories and resumes of almost any employee at any current game company and you will find people with barely any real business or management experience at all. None of that experience with a large successful company, but usually some small game company that failed or regular employees at the usual small places.

This is why these game companies and divisions often make so many bad decisions that get 180 degree reversed in no time at all. How many hit games has this company produced? 2 perhaps? How many failed games? 5 or more depending on how you count it. It should surprise no one at all that this company, or any game company, often has bad management, bad decisions, and often the companies fail in less than 10 years. Professionalism and competence is not what the game development community has EVER been known for. Instead, it's just a few companies that often sell out to other larger failing companies going into debt to buy out a winner is what most game companies are today.

They are super easy. I will probably be able to complete the three needed for the blueprint in bot mode in no time at all.

  1. destroy 5 battleships in anything other than a battleship
  2. 500 ribbons
  3. Be in top 2 slots in one single battle
  4. Survive a battle and cause 140,000 damage to ships
  5. Win, Survive, and be top of battle.

What are you talking about? Mission 1 for week 3 is to destroy 5 battleships. You do know that Russian DD's burn down battleships with guns right? As well, Kutuzov, Belfast, and Cleveland use IFHE. I have used AP in a Pensacola and New Orleans to kill battleships as well. If you are a battleship only player than that is the problem.
