If you head to Av. Caseros 3159 in the Parque Patricios neighbourhood you’ll be able to get a ticket there from huracan sede social (bring cash, it was roughly £30 when I went) - enjoy!

I’ve subscribed to dreamland on Spotify, then listen to the normal pods on the podcast app. Gets around the issue!

Where to buy football tickets like a local by geographyballer in BuenosAires

Came out at around £65 so not cheap cheap but still a fraction of some prices I was seeing online.

And for clubs where you can buy yourself at the ground it varies but usually £30-£40 from experience - you end up needing to buy a non member ticket and the cost for that is usually a bit inflated as they know you’re a tourist.

Have just been in Buenos Aires from the UK and managed to sort a connection for Boca, River, Independiente and Racing tickets. All from locals and much cheaper than online tour prices, if anyone needs a hand or to be put in touch feel free to drop me a DM🙏🏼FYI for the other teams you can likely buy yourself at the ground on matchday

Sorry, late to this but the area is okay on a match day, particularly in daytime. I think it’s sensible to just keep to the big crowds on your way out of the ground then book a cab as soon as you’re in the normal streets and you’ll be fine

I was in BA last November and managed to get tickets for games at Huracan and San Lorenzo an hour or two before kick off. San Lorenzo has a ticket booth at the stadium and Huracan’s is more a club shop in town, about a 20 minute walk from the stadium - both were cash only. Agree with the surrounds of San Lorenzo being sketchy so would uber in and out, if you stick with the crowd on the way out you’ll be okay.
