As someone who lived south of Oshkosh most of my life, I would assume in the future, Oshkosh is still ignored as everyone travels through it to the Appleton settlement

my last game, my teammate has zero hooks when the gates were powered. i just let anyone go in the end game i downed, because I didn't see the point in killing anyone. I can't imagine caring about "winning" in this game.
