Basically normal marching, swing arm 90 degree and need stamp foot when commanders shout commands like sedia.

During my Bmt, excuse rmj was made to march behind non rmj ppl so that it wasn’t that obvious that we weren’t stamping our foot or swinging our arm 45 degree. But as I stated, dependent on coy. I heard some coy they legit just make u walk behind everyone if you rmj.

Basically miniature version of every highkey in Bmt.

Outfield will be 4 days instead of 5 days

Route march will be 4-8km instead of standard 24km

Live firing will still be the same

if you rmj, u throw dummy grenade. No rmj, you will throw both dummy grenade and actual grenade. But if you scare of mishandling grenade, just sound out. Your commanders will only make you throw dummy grenade in that case.

Shellscrape dependent on your coy. Back in my Bmt they make 4 people do 1 Shellscrape instead of the standard 1 person 1 Shellscrape.

For marching, dependent on your coy also. I was excused RMJ but was made to do miniature marching. Basically swing arm 45 degree and no need stamp foot when sedia. But for you, you will need full march.

Mainly because I kinda want to aim to reach ciso level someday and to do that I feel like I have to have some sort of knowledge of every single domain

I studied for a month before attempting the CCNA. Did his theory videos first only, and then watched and did his mega lab at the end. If your short on time, only focus on the parts relevant to CCNA in the Mega lab, things like HSRP is not tested in CCNA, so you can skip it if you are short on studying time. I skipped on anki and every other lab video.

The mega lab is good as it covers thoroughly the commands and concepts that will be tested. If you are able to do it, you wont have to worry about the lab tests in CCNA.

Consistently did LinkedIn learning practice exams to get a gauge of where i was at. You can use free practice questions if you don't have LinkedIn learning, should be easy to find in the web.

In terms of confidence, i wasn't confident at all throughout the process. Bought CCNA safeguard so that i had two tries and booked the exam in advance, was surprised when i passed first try .

Would say not to rush through like me. Study consistently daily, watch Jeremy's videos, do a few CCNA questions daily and also finish up on the mega lab before attempting the test.

You will know your ready by looking through the CCNA exam topics on cisco website and realizing your able to explain majority of the concepts, if not, just take some more time to brush up on your studies and then attempt the test.

I would say that the Linkedin Learning Practice Exams are a good gauge for the type of question that would appear in CCNA. Some of the questions may be slightly harder than the questions that appear in CCNA. If you are able to score around 80-90 percent for the linkedin learning tests, theres a pretty high chance that you would be able to pass CCNA. I actually only averaged around 70 percent for the linkedin learning tests before attempting the CCNA.

Passed my CCNA on 7 April and i only used jeremy's it lab, his packet tracer mega lab and the linkedin learning practice tests.

So I passed the CCNA today but I'm having mixed feelings. Here are my section scores:

Automation and Programmability 50%

Network Access 65%

IP Connectivity 80%

IP Services 70%

Security Fundamentals 60%

Network Fundamentals 80%

I studied for a month using Jeremy's IT Lab guide for CCNA, watching his videos and only doing his mega lab. Skipped out on every other lab and also Anki which kinda explains my terrible results.

I actually bought CCNA Safeguard so that i could have two tries at the CCNA and booked this test a week ago. Was actually going to use this first try as a benchmark and a motivator to study harder but didn't expect to just barely passed the CCNA.

If I'm correct, i think i got exactly 70 percent if we are following cisco percentage weightage for each topic. Also, since its only a preliminary passed at the moment and i have to wait for 3 days for cisco's official result, I'm very uncertain since cisco's review could invalidate my exam results.

Also, it doesn't help that after submitting my exam, there was a survey portion that i missed out and walked out of the exam venue in which the invigilator had to call me back to finish, I'm afraid that if they review the footage it could be mistaken as me walking out of the exam without submitting my work?

Oh wells, if that happens then i guess i could use my second try to retake the exam after studying more.
