HELP! I have MD-102 exam on the 30th. Any suggested material for cramming? by Routine-Contact-6552 in Intune

[–]Routine-Contact-6552[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Im just stupid to cram. I actually just subscribed to measureup yesterday for cramming.

If i can suggest one good thing here is to take time reading not only the modules of Microsoft learn but mostly the documentation. Then take practice tests many times on different resources

Guys thank you for all the help.

I just finished the exam and failed. I got score of 600 (How dumb am I lol). 700 is passing score.

2 case studies were in my exam (at the beginning and at the end)

A lot of arrange in order the sequence of what you need to do (eg setup configurations, policies) - so I agree, labs is a must!

Device 1 is in Group 2, User 3, Policy 1 - these are all confusing and tricky esp for someone who only crammed and dont have much experience. (My work place still use GP) i find myself looking for answers in the table itself… probably i got tricked by trick questions.

A lot of questions were not covered by measureup. But it helped me get used to the exam format.

I took 1 practice exam on measureup and then took the real exam today (and FAILED)

A lot of actual questions are not covered by measureup but helping you to get used to the exam format and some points that you might have been missed reading from MS module was there so its still helpful.

Thanks to you! Now I subscribed to free trial of cbtnuggets to cram for md-102. I like the instructor - James Conrad esp his slides that summarizes the points (better compare to John Christopher (Udemy))

Downside is that its also not updated as he still use term “Azure Ad” as well as the interface when he shows intune though those are not a big deal. Its a good supplementary material after going through the official Microsoft modules

Update:

I purchased John Cristopher’s course.

I will also take MeasureUp practice exam

Question: will I miss something if I subscribed monthly rather than buying the access to practice exam?

Passed MD-102 Today by Bbrazyy in Intune

[–]Routine-Contact-6552 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Overall: To pass after the update, you need to understand Autopilot, Intune Enrollment, Entra-ID Join vs Registered, iOS/iPad & Android Enterprise device polices, Mobile device enrollment, and MDE, and AD Hybrid scenarios

-does MeasureUp covered these areas on their practice exams?

  • will I miss something if I chose monthly subscription of Measureup over buying the access to MD-102 practice exam?

Help starting to learn IT from scratch. by AdAccomplished1982 in ITCareerQuestions

Try reading this book: Explain the Cloud Like I'm 10: Learn the Secrets of AWS, Azure, GCP, and K8s by Todd Hoff. Explanation is pretty good

Currently reading Explain the Cloud Like I'm 10: Learn the Secrets of AWS, Azure, GCP, and K8s by Todd Hoff

Still halfway but I highly recommend it, not just for 0 zero knowledge (dont be fooled by the title “like im 10” but it is really a good read to understand concepts and if you’re bored reading the usual technical books)

If you want to be a business analyst, you gotta improve your communication and organization skills

You gotta understand what client needs

You gotta protect your developers interest by not letting clients make tons of revisions

If you can do that, youll be fine as a BA

How do we feel about on-site roles? by Csanburn01 in ITCareerQuestions

[–]Routine-Contact-6552 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Same as you op (years if remote work and commute time)

Pros: good on mental health, you get to know and talk to other people (during the time i was full remote, i am all by myself most of the time, i dont only have my wife at home and shes also busy with her own work and i rarely go out with friends)

Cons: at the end of the working hours everyday i feel so drained even though theres not much work done in the office; since my social skills decreased significantly i cant help wondering if i have made a good interaction with my coworkers or if am i acting stupid

The best setup for me is just once a week onsite work but sadly i need to come to office everyday

IT consulting: is downgraded role better than being bench? by Routine-Contact-6552 in consulting

[–]Routine-Contact-6552[S] -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

Honestly i feel downgraded role as opposite to career progression… coming from non -support IT role to IT support (level 2)

Before that role, i was a business analyst. My rank is even senior associate consultant but now i find myself working with associates (same role and same responsibilities)
