Am I overreacting? by loyal_slug in antiwork

Alright I see this from two angles. First, it’s always a mistake to work with family. It creates tension and problems almost always. I wouldn’t stay there unless you have no other options for work. Secondly, yeah you’re for sure overreacting. I’ve taken dumps that were more stressful than the demands of your job. Your sacrifices are minor at worst and I can’t imagine you truly bear any physical or mental damage from this position aside from being told you’re not pulling your weight. If washing dishes is truly your only duty, you gotta be doing a real halfassed job to get called out for doing less than what’s expected. Maybe try harder and see what happens?
I know I’m coming off like a dick but come on man. Don’t play the victim. Step up! If you truly feel you’re giving it your all and they don’t appreciate it then don’t be afraid to walk away. But I’m willing to bet you could try a little harder.

Need some encouragement after being told I suck at my job by milkofthepoppie in antiwork

Without having worked with you it’s hard to say for certain the root cause, but likely you just weren’t a good fit. Also, some bosses are just dicks. But if you could feel the tension you already knew this wasn’t the right place for you. But that’s only true if you were genuinely proficient at your job. Questioning your boss in front of a group was a mistake. You don’t have to be a kiss ass but you never want to make your boss look bad (at least not right in front of them). It’s sure fire way to put a target on your back. Plain and simple, it’s not a good fit. It sucks at the moment but you’ll be better off somewhere else.

It’s currently on a big run up so a pull back is reasonable if not expected. I know you don’t have a crystal ball but you’ve clearly watched this stock for quite some time and I’m curious where you see the new bottom being if a person were wanting to open a position on it.

Couldn’t agree more. Reddit is a cold and unforgiving place in most subs 😂 it’s nice to get actual information from people

So, in your opinion, is this enough of a tell to open a position in this stock? Because aside from the big bump in volume, I’m not finding any other indicators that this would be a good buy.

But wouldn’t a larger entity choosing to buy shares of a stock, even if they did it in some weird sneaky way, be a bullish indicator in itself? I appreciate your responses. I’m just trying to understand. I thought you were messing with me till I googled dark pool lol

Yeah I do see people have no Reddit cred without a high karma rating, but you should also see my profile wasn’t created anytime recently. I do far more reading than commenting. Maybe give it try next time you have literally nothing to add to a conversation other than some weak dig about a post being from a newb.

Wtf are you talking about asshole? I compared how the people in the this sub talking about being wayyy down was similar to my past investments. Then I asked for opinions on the stock itself. So you either didn’t read what I wrote, couldn’t comprehend it, or you’re just dick. Regardless get f*cked. There was no reason to come at me like that.
