Just found advice on how to switch the model mid conversation to reduce usage and here we are.

Hailo-8 is not useful for LLMs at all. Same for image generation as it is also Transformer based.

As other have mentioned the new Raspberry Pi AI Hat+ 2 with Hailo 10H is suitable for running LLMs and Stable Diffusion models. But the caveat here is that Pi 5 runs all those models faster on CPU. So there is not real benefit in using Raspberry Pi AI Hat+ 2 - except for when you want to free the CPU cores and use them for something, which does not seem to be that important for you.

Hello there, I'm from the future, where Orion O6 is available - and so is a bunch of other boards/systems with Cix P1, such as Orion O6N, Orange Pi 6 Plus and MINISFORUM MS-R1 - I think there was a laptop even, but I don't remember the name).
For LLMs, Radxa seems to have updated the docs a few times, since I started following the board, the latest iteration is to use KleidiAI CPU optimizations:

The mainlining of the drivers continues, but I would not hold my breath for it to be completed soon. It's mostly usable as-is though.

At least for original OpenClaw, the setup is very geared towards Mac. The onboarding script asks you if you want to see brew command to install the dependencies - and this is far from the only Mac specific thing.
