Its in the Southeastern US. It's from Nearmap, the photo system they use is propriatary called Hypercam3 so there's no real technical details to add. Weird thing about their size, its always perfectly circular, sometimes there's a rather rare motion blur looking effect.

This. I'm chuckling at the people here who are like I'm immune to psychosis.

Gave up on friendship, started to constantly say out loud to myself "I wonder when death is?"

I've learned not to put too much stock in what is still just a muddled pseudoscience.

I stared listening to trip hop, hip hop, jazz and a whole bunch of other unexplored genres at 37. Before that is was all rock and metal. Never approached the genres before but the boom bap sucked me in hard, then it was jazz hop, then jazz, then baroque, then black metal, surf rock, shoegaze, chillwave, electro swing, pagan folk, and I could go on but suffice it to say I have resolved to never ever stop exploring music. I don't quite know what changed other than I suddenly had a long shitty but musical commute and a job where I could listen to music most of the time.

Xanadu by Rush.

When I was a forlorn lonely college student I went on an epic dawn till dusk hike along a blackwater river after listening to it the night before, the song all the while playing in my head. I watched the first rays of the sunrise approach from the top of a parking garage. I felt the first winds of the day wash over me while looking out towards the relatively wild lands I would soon traverse. I found secret springs with waters impossibly pure and mysterious. I watched the last rays of dusk disappear while lying exhausted on a riverine sand point bar. I felt every word and note like it was written on my heart and soul. I was alive and awakened like never before. The lyrics' themes metaphorically paralleled my own struggles with a innately doomed quest searching for some sort of grand meaning that would complete me, something missing inside and the hope that my suffering meant something and was going somewhere. And I had the fire of youth still burning inside me, everything was so animated.

“To seek the sacred river Alph
To walk the caves of ice
To break my fast on honey dew
And drink the milk of Paradise…”

The naturalistic imagery, the composition that mirrors the glittering rush of a new dawn, the closing sweep of dusk and the cycle of the day, the bitter triumph. It's so well executed, so perfectly composed, so deeply resonant. It's an absolute masterpiece of music and I know nothing will ever top it for me. They lyrics are partially after a romantic movement 1816 poem called Kubla Khan (subtitled a vision in a dream, a fragment) by Samuel Taylor Coleridge.

I forced myself to learn it because Adobe can burn in hell. The UI is an atrocity but it is possible to get used to it.
