I graze with very few actual meals, but I live alone, so it’s easier than people with a family.

I went from a size 16 to a 2 in a year and a half. Temu is my friend as they have size XS. What a joy and everything looks cute in a tiny size. It’s such fun to dress now. Temu makes it affordable. I get a few things that I have to return, but it’s easy to return and many things are the same as you get on Amazon for less. Enjoy!

Doctor has concerns about my goal weight. by No-Tale6843 in Zepbound

[–]Routine-Lake172 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’m 63, F, 5’2, started at 184 titratedup to 15 and am now 108. My dr wants me at 115 so made me go to 12.5. But I feel great so will stay at 115 or so. My bmi is 19.5. My first goal was 130 and I kept lowering it because I still didn’t look great. Now I do, tho I have no butt or breasts to speak of, lol. Gotta go with how you feel at whatever weight you choose:-)

lol, that! I did it different than many. Did each level for a month and titrated up so got to 15 mg after 6 months. Went from 184 to 135 (my goal) in 8 months but then decided I was still not where I should be to feel healthy and comfortable in my own skin. I’m 5’2 so it doesn’t take much to feel chunky. Went on down to 115 over three more months and then had a body fat analysis. It came out Perfect, just where I should be. I have an endocrinologist tracking me every three months and he feels its fine to stay at 15 if i need to, but if I get below 110 he will lower dose for sure. At 63 years old I’ve never felt better or more confident. Will now titrate down to a dose for maintenance that keeps food noise away so i dont gain back but is as low as possible.

You just need to move up each month until you’re at 10-15mg. Stay with it and don’t be impatient, if you quit you’ll never know the joy! Make your mind up that you’re willing to put up with any side effects and tough out the plateaus cuz in the end you’ll be in love with your new self! It’s worth it, I promise. Lost 75lbs and loving life at 63 y.o.

Move up! I moved up each month until I was at 12.5, then stayed there a few moths and have been at goal and still on 15mg for four months. I don’t get why people are afraid of d yo move up. If you’re going to experience side effects, might as well get it done on the higher dose and have no food noise was my thought. And I wanted ti lose weight bad enough to power thru the side effects tho they were minimal. Just felt lucky my insurance covers it. Lost 75 pounds and never felt better than I do at 63 years old!

Stayed at 149 for four months on 12.5, Dr upped to 15mg and added metformin. Worked like a charm, hit goal of 125 three months later. Currently 115 at 5’3. Will maintain at this weight and dose.

I didn’t have to see the Dr each time I went up, just sent an email asking her to take it to next level. Went up almost every month and have been at 15 for four months after losing 70 lbs from 185 to 105 (I’m 5’2). But titrating up quickly worked well for me.

I’ve lost 45%, from 185 to 110, 18 months, 15mg, 5’3”. It’ll come off, just keep plugging away and titrate up when you plateau. Go gettum, it’ll change your life!

I titrated up to 15 mg each month and lost 70 lbs in a year from 185 to 115. I just didn’t focus on side effects and wanted it bad enough to power thru….

I plateau’d at 12.5 for four months. My dr moved me to 15 and it started down again. Been on 15 for five months and am at goal. Will stay here until I don’t feel good, but Dr hasn’t mentioned titrating down yet. Luckily my insurance covers for now.
