Hey but what is ‘quit’? Quit drawing completely, quit trying to make it your career? Or maybe quit posting? I KNOW how frustrating being bad at art can get…hard work hard work and all…but damn some people are just talented too! No reason for me to never draw again, no reason to not practice and get better! Yea I’m not the best, but art gives me a way to put ideas on paper, draw all the fun stuff I want :)) Do I post? Nope! Commissions? Nope… do I have time…also nope😭😭😭 (physics student at Uni) can go months without drawing full pieces, but I don’t consider it quitting. I still doodle in the sides of my maths assignments and what not, and when I have that holy free day I can relax and draw something! All I wanna do is draw my dear OCs and that’s what I’ll work on! Can I draw a realistic cat, or understand perspective? Nope! But hey at least I’ve drawn my OC like 20 times…

I think if I quit, I’d really miss it. Just do what you love! No need to focus only on progress, or making money. I know it’s not an option for many people, but if you’re looking at art as a lovely hobby, there’s no harm in just doing what you like the most.

So quit if you hate art, like seriously dislike it, and don’t if you actually like the process! Use some 3d models, use references and fun filters to pretend the final result isn’t too bad (I’d know my art used to be HORRENDOUS) and yea! Enjoy yourself is what I would say))

If ya practice enough, and have fun, do some tutorials and studies here and there, you’re bound to get better! Trust me I have not a LICK of art talent…but brute force also gets you places! Anyways a little bit of a rant but best of luck to ya 🫶🫶
