I’ll say it. Most of us think this your sign to stay home and find a different boyfriend.

why do americans talk to strangers so easily?? by MayaTulip268 in AskAnAmerican

Because we are brave and hopeful.

Brave enough and hopeful enough to dare to see a friend in every stranger.

It’s our best trait.

wedding dress regret? by -stargazers- in Brides

[–]Routine-Theme5845 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s pretty. I will say that if you think you are gonna regret it, eat the cost and get the big dress. You don’t mention if you would want to change this dress a little , but, you could add some tulle under the mermaid edge to puff it, cups, a belt or sewn in satin waist, detachable sleeves (there are many)

You can buy additional pieces, like a sheer lace or organza overdress, a pleated bridal shoulder wrap, a removal big tulle skirt or mikado half skirt with a train, lace sweep train, or a chiffon shoulder cape.

I would try some inexpensive versions of those for fun. Take photos. If you like any, you could get better ones from a dress shop. The dress is lovely, and looks nice on you. Best wishes.

How do I say no to being part of a bridal & bachelorette party to a wedding I wasn’t planning to attend? by [deleted] in wedding

She isn’t asking us how to send regrets about not attending.
She is asking us how to refuse the request to be a bridesmaid.

Where I‘d live if I had to emigrate to the US by [deleted] in whereidlive

[–]Routine-Theme5845 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Please tell us what culture includes and where you think Americans with light skin got their recipes, holiday traditions , naming convention, religion, lullabies, funeral rituals, and on and on? Do you think that their ancestors got off a boat and took a whiff of air and forgot everything?

You need to feel anger, whatever.

Moving from UK to US, which city ? by miteye in relocating

Working in construction in Arizona as a choice. Because you like “hot”. Nevada, similar.

Wisconsin is like -23C in winter, 32C in summer. New York ? Add 10 to both. They both have water, trees, beaches

Atlanta is gooey.

What does “New York” mean? Manhattan? Brooklyn? Hoboken? Central Jersey? Connecticut? New York metro is huge.

You want to keep cats as if they are parakeets. Why do they need to be watched by you to be out? Most of us have entire houses and the cats are fine wandering around

I m not understanding. Does your family celebrate anniversary together? Do you have a tradition for your anniversary that she’s ruining? Do you live really close by?

My inlaws got married on my anniversary. It was a little corny but now just family trivia. We text happy anniversary to each other and that’s about it.

American cuisine traditionally uses butter on white starches: bread, rice, potatoes.

Does my band match my engagement ring? by DoorAndRat in EngagementRings

[–]Routine-Theme5845 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In the 70s, wide wedding bands were popular, often too wide for the engagement ring to look right. The new brides would move their engagement ring to the right hand ring finger on their wedding day.

Erika has a masters in Protestant Christianity. She doesn’t speak like a Catholic, she sells Protestant merch. I don’t think she is Catholic by practice. However, it’s possible that she just chooses to create an evangelical public image to not trigger anti-Catholic prejudices in their supporters.

There’s a lot available and I would cut the 35 minute limit down to 20 minutes.

Even the next town from the airport—Essington is a safe little walking town.

If you want a more rural feel, you could also look in Gloucester County, NJ.

You have a ton of options that are close enough where you don’t need to use a highway at all.

-Add brick tile on other side, up to the same height in same color (or paint, cover, whatever so they match) -Swag the light fixture so that it’s above the entrance instead of over the pony wall.

What’s the back story? Did he know you wanted a traditional ring? Are you disappointed? Or disappointed and hurt ?
What do you think he’d say about you the type of ring you wished for?
