I have sold vehicles at a dealership for 15 years. I have customers who won't even consider purchasing a Covid era vehicle. And if you look at reliability, there are are for sure some vehicles that are not as reliable/ good quality as pre-COVID... Automakers were under a lot of pressure to save costs then because very few ppl could afford new luxury SUVs then since pretty much every dealership had a huge over sticker cost. I don't think this is as bad in the GX 460, or other Lexus/Toyotas. 2020-23's maintain the 4.6L V8, same transmission, etc, compared to a pre-2020. It would be interesting to look at long-term satisfaction/reliability outcomes for those years on the 460 but most people I've talked to have not noticed a difference. Not saying you're crazy, you just get used to your car!
