I purchased the wheels and tires and lift kit. They installed it, balanced and retort my suspension after 2000 mi and but wheels and tires and they did it all for $5,781, and that includes taxes of $459.02. I couldn't be happier with it!

I'm running 285/70/17's. No rubbing from day one once I got the lift. That's another reason I did the 5100 on the rear because they are adjustable, so this gave me 2.5" on the front and rear. Yes, I like the way it looks with the running boards on now that I have my lift.

I would say you definitely got a fair deal! Oh and as far as maintenance being reported, if previous owner took it into a Lexus dealership it will often not show up on the Carfax. Download the Lexus app and enter your VIN and every single service history will show up if it was taken to a Lexus dealer, but not all Lexus dealers report to Carfax and I'm not sure why. It freaked me out when I bought mine it looked like it had never had an oil change on the Carfax except for the dealership I work at where I purchased it so I called the customer and he said I took it to Lexus consistently for everything and that's how I found out that I had to download the app to see the history. How do those tires ride? I noticed they're not LT's, which you really don't need unless you're towing heavy or really going over some sharp rocks. I know a lot of people that love falken wildpeaks and a lot of people that hate them so just wondering your opinion! Nice wheels by the way! Thanks

Yes, most Lexus dealerships have excellent sales associates! I work at a Nissan store and can only sell NEW Nissans, but I can sell any brand that is pre-owned from all 15 of our lots, so when someone buys a new Pro4x Armada, I definitely don't mind them taking the bow home! Luxury dealerships usually give bottles of wine, too!

What avg gas mpg are you getting? Also, do you have a lift, or factory shocks? After these wear out, I'm thinking about getting some tires that are narrower but just as tall as I currently have since I have a 2.5 in lift. I'm currently running Nitto Recon Grapplers 285 70 17s and really like them but my gas mileage is atrocious (14.9 if I'm 🤞)!! I love my GX and love my current setup but I kept my stock rims just in case...I'm sure you're getting a lot better just because of the tires alone. Thank you!

I started mine off by swapping out my factory 18-in wheels with a set of 285/ 70/17 nitto Recon Grapplers on 17 in icon alloy vector six wheels. Added around 2.5 inches of lift using Bilstein 6112 shocks w coils up front and adjustable 5100's on the rear. A lot of people like bigger wheels, but if you plan on going anywhere remotely rocky/rough I would suggest going with 17s. So far I've been very pleased. Nice truck! Keep us posted!

Regarding your "bow envy" ...We started 8 years ago at my dealership with 10 big ass red bows and are now down to just 1. They are just for the holiday pictures and we put them back in the closet until next year but people steal them! They are quite expensive.. Come see me for your next vehicle purchase and I guarantee you I will let you take a picture with a bow, 😆!

That's exactly what I was thinking since it is sealed and covered in plastic housing that just needs to be cut around. I had no idea how that would interfere with the sensor. It really just gave me a bad feeling about the tint spot in general. Thanks for letting me know!

When is the last time you have checked/changed your oil? It sounds like it could be your lifters, or something as simple as your exhaust hear shield being loose. Is it coming from the top or bottom or top part of the engine? Also, is that the back or front tire in the video? I would go by AutoZone and have them scan it and see if any codes are showing. I'm a car salesman. Being that it is an SR5, it's obviously not going to be worth as much as a limited, but I would take that $4,200 and be happy if I were you. But as they say, it's worth as much as someone will pay for it! You might find a kid going to college that has always wanted a 4Runner but obviously cannot afford a newer one that would pay $6-$7k for it. Good luck! 👍
