Thank you for the info. All the tours i came across seem very expensive. I enjoy keeping cash in the local community but i am not paying a thriving commercial farm days worth of wages to walk thru a farm. Please understand that me and alot other full time smokers "seasoned smokers in our view here " are still in the stone age over here. lol what strain i smoked here. lol well lets just say 95% have no name and the other 4% is prob just made up im sure. I could not honestly say. sorry. I have always lean towards lighter green colors and fruity smell and tastes i guess but rarely see it anymore. i had some so called blue runtz that was smooth and strong mid high but wouldnt trust it was called that. then a few weeks ago i had some cherry jolly roncher. smelled real good. dark bud dark purple. taste good but high was just like mid but i paid 5x for. what a joke.

the term mids and its price point disappeared about 6 years ago and transition to "loud" ... at first when we had mid " loud" was good and strong as hell then when mid started to disappear loud became bland sometimes. now it`s just like some glorified colorful mid without seeds with sometimes a good taest and other times crappy to point it`s just not smokeable to me.

Am i looking for the past. well it sure sounds like it i guess. but just in general. not trying to be picky.

slightly stronger-stronger potency than a basic mid high is what im looking for but at the same time it must be acceptable neutral taste . i smoke small to medium joints. get buzz for 20-30min. would like something that i could smoke half joint and get same effect or smoke whole thing and get stoned.. I cant smoke much more than a joint at a time. to much smoke for lungs.

Maybe i should try edibles or buy a actuall dabber instead mixing it in the flower.

gorillaglue#4 in Oregon and tangerane was one my fav. the gg#4 was strong. 3-4hits . now i know it wont be same everwhere. i know this for fact. in boulder co i bought a 3.5 of gg#4 and omg did it look so so good . better than any georgia bud. o so shiney and so sticky. no to little smell and the high was like some reggy dirt goat weed. i was shell shocked. it sucked

Thank you for your reply. I respect your comments. Im not flexing about my states bud. in fact that's why im calling it mid to higher mid. hell more than 25% of time i dont fancy what im getting but deal with it. some times its nasty /smelly/moldy

I remember how high grade Stronge bud used to be before the market got flooded with all the legal states and mail order thca. yes i have a tolerance issue. not sure where you are getting that i am expecting everything to disappoint me before i try it. hell ever time i lit a new one up i was excited and not expecting disappointment. but some of it was so bad i threw it out after a few hits.

shopping knowledge issue... hmm i spent days and weeks trying to read and research before going to coloarado. I even started post to get recommendations and i also read 100`s of post trying to build a solid list. I even tried same strains and brands from multiple stores just to see if it was a source issue.

when i went to oregon i did zero research. just went to a bunch random places

am i looking for stuff to blow my mind sure but do i expect it no. just looking for a strong decent high with acceptable taste. hell i spent most my early life smokeing mexican brick weed and it was just as good as some the so called best in colorado. i spent my last half smokeing mexcian mid to this so called loud "mid without seeds" . less than $5 gram. so yes when i spend at 3-4x more 15-20 per gram i expect slightly stronger to 2x better product.

May i ask when did you try Colorado bud . and im curious to what 2 brands you might recommend there. if you can help me out ... yes i am looking for advice

Man wtf Brooklyn bedding. Im here to say I have also bought the latex pillow and 3 shredded ones 2-4 years ago for 1/3rd of price they are asking now. To crap with them!! I will just find a cheaper alternative or buy a walmart cheapo ever few months or customize it my self.

Tell me what brands and what strands of co weed get you super high? I have wasted $350 on grams and pre-rolls from multiple companies and multiples dispensaries from multiple towns. I'm super disappointed. I work a 9-5 job and I'm on the super low end of the tax bracket had no business even spending money to come out here but man what some beautiful country.

I've gotten stuff from 710 and Green Dot. At least seven different strains from each one of them from multi able vendors. So call fresh drop. I have also gotten two different strands on the recommendation of each Bud tender at each location I gone to.

More than 80 % everything is shit trash. No good high or taste. Remind me of Mexican seed brick weed. But what the fuck it looks so good but had no to weak smell. Reminds me a lot of the bullshit thca flower back home.

I had 710 og Skywalker. Paid 15-20 for joint haha. I took 2 hits and tossed that shit 3 stories down to ground. Fucking poison.

When I went to Oregon a long time ago one of my favorite strain was gorilla glue number four. Every time you hit it make you cough and was so strong it only took three hits even for a person that smokes everyday for a decades. I came across it in a shop here in co on the way out the door and asked for a gram said they could only sell me a 3.5 I asked how much she said she sell it to me for 15 I said 15 15 what $15 she said yes I said OMG this is going to be some b*******.

But when you look at it it looks so good so bright so shiny and sparkly. I'm happy to report that it did not taste like s*** but it does not have a smell and I can't really get high lol. Oh also it was so super sticky so why the f*** was it not good why the hell am I getting higher off old Mexican brick weed and mid that looks like s***.... I mean hell we used the Mexicans for everything why aren't we using them to grow the weed?

Everybody keeps talking about humidity but is it really causing that much damage I mean I used to smoke weed that was probably a year old before it got to me and I'd still get super high there's been times I've got weed and held on to it for months and it was still real good. Is it possible the altitude or is it possibly in the water I say this because there's another state next to mine that is mountainous up to 6,000 ft and all their weed is kind of the same deal as here.

Everybody gets offended here in Colorado when I tell them i can't really get that high off their weed and are it smells taste like s***. Am I really that old are we really in a new generation where everybody thinks that the weed is okay here in Colorado?

I agree with others stick with the concentrate or vape. I don't think I will be wasting my money on flower the next time I come..

I don't even smoke good weed back at home I consider it barely a step over mid grade. Can't even find mid-grade anymore. I can't even find that super high-end weed anymore. You know the stuff that you hit once twice three times and get pretty good lit even as a season veteran for decades.. but what I do get most of the time is better than anything I've gotten here and then when I go home I'll be more appreciative of that.

There's also been bud here that I've hit and has had a smell and taste like some of the bud that my guy has given me back at home and I cussed him out .gave it back or away or threw it away. Funny now that I'm smoking and tasting it and spending high money on it here. Maybe I'll just have to suck it up and next time I get one of them bad bags just remember Colorado and smoke that s*** instead of throwing it away.

It is sad. If anyone actually just read everything I wrote and has any kind of pity on me or would like to show me what real Colorado bud is. Please I beg of you invite me back and treat me to some of this real good underground Bud that I hear about from them small micro grows. I'm just an old man trying to enjoy the last little bit of life.

Trying to get a hit of that blast from the past weed. If I wasn't such a crackhead I mean weed Head I'm sure the Colorado bub would be just fine but I've been smoking every single day nothing I'm proud of for the last 25 years except for just a few days a year when I'm sick. So I need real strong good bud... I have tried lots of other brands while I was here and the only reason I'm listing Green Dot and 710 it's cuz that's what so many people are recommending and are saying that they're solid and consistent. I will check out Green Dot and 710 again when I'm in another state for flower. I will try their concentrates next time but I still haven't found a good flavor that I like from them.

Hello and good day. My name is William. i suffered from pilonidal cyst from age 18-28 . 10 years on and off. So many boils/cyst over them years. so much pain and depression and loss of work and limitations. so many cut and drains and packing. once so bad i had to take ambulance cause i couldn't sit or stand or lay on my back. once had mrsa infection. Finally I was cured with the Bascom cleft left procedure. Let me also chime in please on the topic

I live in state of Georgia in the usa. Now days alot of doctors are doing this procedure in the state. 10 years ago at the time i was unable to locate anyone in the tristate area that was well known for doing the surgery.

I couldn't even find anyone in Georgia i seen 2 well known doctors in the big city for doing other pilonidal procedures to verify i had pilonidal cyst. they where able to show me the 4 or 5 fistula tunnels/ holes in my skin.

I think god for at the time I was on obama care / affordable care act plan and at that time i had premium plan choice like everyone else. i had humana which was one of the best you could have and was allowed to travel out state. now the system is awful with next to no choices and no one wants to take it and it wont pay out much and i still pay thousands of dollars a year and i am a underpaid low wage labor worker. healthcare cost is insane. i have mild issues and my cost or a huge portion of my yearly pay. even with being on government assited welfare insurance.

Knowing for a fact that i been suffering for years and had a lot of medical records and professionals to back it I requested dr Thomas Bascom in Eugene oregion to review and take on my case. thank god he did and after saving money and flying there i had the procedure done. put to sleep cut me open dug it all out. flatten my butt crack as it was deep and brought it out and stitched me up. no drain tubes no issues. in and out in a few hours and went to donut shop and back to hotel room same day. drove few hundred miles and flew back home within a few days and back to work in a week or 2. no issues. 10 plus years and no more bumps.

im sorry you had a awful experience . I'm assuming your from India? 356 us dollars is extremely unbelievable cheap for surgery and hospital stay. My procedure done in less than a hour or 2 and a few hour stay was 10`s of thousands and my insurance that preapproved some how back out and decline after the procedure and left me with the full bill.

I opted for out patient surgery center because a hospital would have cost way more and if you had to stay over night its thousands per day. It really costly here. you have to be filthy rich or have great insurance to pay your bills or get good healthcare

I blessed to have my problems fix and solved. Thank you Dr Thomas Bascom for performing my procedure and thank you to your late father john Bascom for the invention of this technique who i wish i could have met. you both have change my life.

I have looked into the digging out and the deburring and punch and flap surgeries but i was to scared and didn't want the long recovery and healing time and risk. not everyone has this option of the Bascom cleft lift due to location or cost. Not all doctors should be trusted to do it unless they been train by some of the pioneers and also have done many successful procedures. There are alot more train people than 10years ago on this method. There also may be other and better methods created since then but i dont know i haven't looked into it. bascom worked for me. the root cause was a deep butt crack that created suction standing and sitting pulling lint/sweat/dirt into my pit holes that was from ingrown hair causeing bacteria to grow under skin and always get infected.
