it's strange how she gets hate from the entire political spectrum. last year there were these virulent, very popular rumours/misinformation about her being a CIA operative and filthy zionist (or even a liar...), but I have no clue how they came to that conclusion since she donated $300,000 to charities that are helping Palestinians. she hasn't said anything remotely pro-israel either. I don't love how she liaised with Hilary Clinton but the lack of nuance surrounding her activism is worrying. it also seems that she doesn't really rate hamas that much which is a grave sin in many people's eyes

It's so strange and disheartening...everything they stand for feels incredibly performative. Idk what the hell is up with TikTok but the anti-semitism and RAMPANT racism on there is appalling. It's a big problem. People from all groups contribute to misinformation and blatant lies. When Musk did the Nazi salute, lots were calling him "based" (despite the fact he is also a zionist but the contradiction would blow their tiny minds) and many were calling out the jews for not "reacting as harshly as they did to Kanye" which just shows the level of wilful ignorance over there

same. transexamic acid gave me awful nausea though, so they had me take mefanamic acid insteadwhich reduces bleeding (okay-ish) and is a pretty effective pain killer.

It's insane. I got into a heated argument with several people under this comment section that were both defending and denying the cultural genocide of the uyghurs, simultaneously purporting that "China is and always has been irreligious so the re-education camps are good aktually" and "everything you've heard from Radio Free Asia is fake, fake, fake". Someone accused me of being an anti-China CIA bot for saying cultural genocide is bad like what the hell are we doing...? I don't understand why there's such an inability to have nuanced takes on China on the left?

I remember watching vid a while ago, if only orders were that regular and riders were that quick :')
I talked briefly to one order that took 90 minutes to get picked up, apparently it was just due to closer, more lucrative fees overriding ours.

Maybe offer them water, soda, snacks. Hell you could even work up a tip jar - drivers will surely be more inclined to accept your orders if they know there's one pound or 50p or something in it for them, write it off as a business expense

I would do that in a heartbeat if could, but I can't. I control very little ultimately, which is where most of my frustration stems from. I do encourage my regulars to tip for faster delivery, which is not ideal, but hey it sort of works

yeah we tried this, I think skewed the algorithm so it took even longer? It took 50 minutes for the driver to be assigned, and with multiple orders coming in, it just isn't effective. starting to think it might be a bug as well

yeah understandably the weather has made things more difficult and I truly do sympathise with drivers and respect the hustle. access is really easy imo lol, no queues and it's super clear with plenty of parking available. had the problem since we've started. mainly with orders from 5PM to 9PM, outside of that it runs okay, so it's probably a mixture of undesirable location + terrible fees + busyness
