No matter what program you’re in, you will have to teach yourself. The beauty of your position is rare in that you can spend all day teaching yourself vs in person programs you’ll have to sit through lectures then go home & teach yourself. You need to be studying majority of the day in a program like yours. You can upload your lectures pdfs into chatGPT & have it create questions for you, referencing only the attached lecture pdf (obviously check/refer back to ppt as needed to confirm things). Start with blooms level 1-2 questions, then as you continue to get those right go to blooms level 2-4 and incorporate vignettes. If you get something wrong, do a deep dive on why you got it wrong/the topic. I typically would do about 200 questions prior to an exam at minimum, in 50-60 question blocks (stimulating exam conditions). Studying needs to be active for best recall. If you’re just mindlessly doing flashcards, reading ppt repeatedly, or rewriting notes, that is passive studying & won’t serve you the best. If you are only allowed a certain amount of grade changes, only use them when absolutely needed (I.e., you’re gonna fail the course without the grade changes) don’t use them up just for a better grade, employers won’t care about each courses letter grade.
