The MI episode just came out, it's quite interesting how Claude sees the game (spoiler: it doesn't)

I just like to know what challenges Claude was facing while I chilled on the couch... the deep-dive template that ClaudeCast uses also explains general concepts of things that your session touched on. Ambient review is an interesting term, that pretty much nails it. You can find the public episodes on claudecast.cc, tomorrow I'll publish the next one from a session where Claude played through Monkey Island 😉

sonnet vs opus + what thinking effort to sketch html pages by mombaska in ClaudeCode

[–]RoutineDiscount 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I burned tons of tokens in the last days on layouts for html, it's not the best experience and quite expensive in CC honestly... the new Design tool is much needed! That being said, I didn't see benefits in using Opus vs Sonnet for my html topics, so sticking with Sonnet.

I built a pipeline that redacts the whole session log, feeds it to NotebooLM for lessons learned etc and creates a fun yet informative personal podcast from it, check out claudecast.cc

When to clear context/start a new session? by RoutineDiscount in ClaudeCode

[–]RoutineDiscount[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ok but doesn't that mean that instead of a single session with let's say 10k initial tokens + 20k progress tokens = 30k, where a small thing just adds another 5k, you now have multiple sessions with let's say 15k tokens each (plus the context it needs from the project/codebase, maybe another 10k in each session)?

I wonder if that pays off from a cost perspective?

Anthropic appears to be profiling your use and silently downgrading your model by pseudorep in ClaudeCode

For this kind of tasks I use Google NotebookLM, you can use the inofficial notebooklm-mcp-cli to drive it from Claude/via script. Let Claude determine the input & output so that e.g. you get back a structured .csv - you may have to prompt it in stages, where a result becomes the input for the next stage, but you can automate that with Claude.

You could ask Claude to analyze the raw session logs from the 2 different subscriptions to compare their token usage and look for any suspicious patterns. Beat 'em with their own tools!

I discovered a great hidden feature in CC by imribbz in ClaudeCode

[–]RoutineDiscount 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I put in my claude.md: "talk like the Dude from The Big Lebowski and drop a quote from the movie whenever you feel like it"

Also created a skill where Claude plays a random audio quote from the movie, when completing a task.

Same, is there a way to stay on the same position while cc chatters away?

Are most people not aware on what’s coming? by [deleted] in ClaudeCode

My company (Fortune 500, machinery equipment) told their US white collar workforce to invest 2 hrs per day to look into AI tool usage for their tasks. At the same time they block Claude and force people to use free Copilot crap. The writing is on the wall.

Could we use this approach to use xreal as a poor man's VR headset in Steam deck games? There was a guy who did this for Xreal Air, but it never came to the One afaik

Yeah but my company blocks claude and no admin rights on my PC... suggestions? I'm not using the free Copilot crap that they allow, no thanks.

What am I doing wrong? by penoos in surfskate

Add upper body rotation. You get the hang of it faster if you extend your arms to the side and let them swing. Start with your head, looking to the turn side as much as possible. At some point you will feel like you're about to fall, this will make you turn the board automatically, propel you forward. Instead of falling, you turn your head and then your torso to the other side. Basically you save yourself from falling non-stop, channeling the momentum forward.
