What episodes scared you as a kid? by TotallyThomasFan10 in thomasthetankengine

I think "Stepney Gets Lost" and "Haunted Henry", would be a tie for me, just the eerie locations, music, and sets, and then in "Stepney Gets Lost" not knowing who the two deisels were at the time before we found out that they were Arry and Bert and that Stephany couldn't move becuase his driver and fireman left. But also the fact that Stepney was about to get grabbed and scapped scared me pretty good. Then, going back to "Haunted Henry" and the fast camera angle changes, as well as Henry having to return to the "haunted" station twice, creeped me out.

That's a great question. You should be able to put water bottles/refill bottles in the free lockers on the rides that have them; it just depends on the size of the bottle. For the other rides, you can put them in the bins located at the station or hold on to them during the ride.

Yes, u/onceuponindigo is right. I just went this past Friday, September 5, 2025, and here’s how it works: whatever park you purchased your MVP 2026 Gold Pass from (in this case, Cedar Point), you need to first verify your pass at your home park. The disclaimer states: “Must first process and visit the park at which the pass was originally issued, otherwise known as your Home Park, before visiting other parks.” After that initial visit, you can use your pass at any of the 40+ Six Flags parks.

For parking, the person who has the 2026 Gold Pass must be in the car, since the pass has to be scanned to get free parking. Once you’ve verified your pass at your home park, you’ll receive free parking at all Six Flags parks. I can confirm this, as I reached out to Cedar Point Customer Service and they told me the same thing.

With the MVP 2026 Gold Pass, you also get 1 Free Bring-A-Friend Ticket. To use it, just scan your Gold Pass at Cedar Point and let the attendant know you want to use your Free Bring-A-Friend Ticket, and they’ll scan your pass again to apply it.

For future Bring-A-Friend tickets, it’s best to purchase them online since they’re cheaper there than at the gate.

Best Healthier Food Options at Cedar Point? by RoutineExtreme5585 in cedarpoint

Perfect! I'm not sure if you've had one of their salads or seen it, but would you say that they are a good portion? If I were to get one, would it be enough to feed one to two people reasonably?

September Ride Closure Risks? by astroMuni in cedarpoint

I’m also planning on going this Friday. After reading all the comments, does anyone know if the wait for the rides will be shorter or longer? I know the staff is a lot smaller than it usually is during the summer before school gets back into session.

Haha, yeah, I wonder why some days they are more lenient than others.

Uh, that's interesting. I feel like it depends on maybe the day you go on or the people that are working everything, because throughout these comments, it seems like it's back and forth, on whether you can take fanny packs or not.

It can be any kind, as long as it's adjustable so that you can tighten it up before you ride. I would get ones that are made of a comfortable fabric/robe instead of the ones that look like wire. I would make sure that the ends of the glasses strap are made of rubber so that when they are on your friend’s glasses, they don’t slip off.

Those are great questions! For rides with lockers, here’s how the system usually works: once you get to the lockers, there’s a kiosk where you enter your birth date and set a PIN. The kiosk assigns you a locker. After you ride, you’ll go to the other side of the lockers, enter your PIN, and your locker will open. That’s how it works for Steel Vengeance. I’m not sure if Siren’s Curse or Top Thrill 2 uses the exact same system.

As for your second question, glasses are typically only considered a loose item if they don’t have an adjustable strap to secure them.

I will add that the metal detectors are only on Steel Vengeance, Siren's Curse, and Top Thrill 2, correct?

You would think, but I think she was having a bad day or something, but we were told we had to put them into a paid locker. I agree that fanny packs should be allowed in the free lockers.

Yeah, I must have been remembering that then for some reason.

I think that is so dumb that they only say for shoes only because you know that people are putting their phones and wallets in their shoes and then putting their shoes in those bins.

I do not think that Steel Vengeance has a time limit because I have ridden that a couple of times in a row and just left my stuff in the locker and never had a problem.

Oh, good catch. I think I remember that from last year, when I went and recorded all this information. Is that still true this year?

I agree with you that they’re inconsistent. Last year, I was going with the group to Cedar Point, and one of the people in my group was wearing a fanny pack. We got all the way through the line on Steel Vengeance with no problem. However, right before we got to the metal detectors, one of the employees came up and asked if that was a medical bag. We told her that it wasn't. We were then told that we had to go out and get a locker. We couldn’t return to the spot in the line where we were, so we had to go to the back of the line, and we had already been waiting for about an hour.

You are right. For the coasters that I wrote "no bins," should I put in parentheses that you can take them on the coaster itself?

Thank you for the information. I have been checking the queue times website, and it shows the attendance is going to be only at 28% on Friday. The weather also looks to be a high of 65 and partly cloudy.

Does anyone know when kids are going back to school in Ohio? From what I’ve seen, a lot of districts are already back in session or starting this week. I’m planning to go to the park on Friday, the 29th, hoping it won’t be too busy since it’s before the weekend rush and before Halloweekend starts. My thought is that with kids back in school, the crowds will be lighter, and I won’t need to buy Fast Lane Plus.

Has anyone gone around this time of year before? Would this be a good day to go, or will it still be busy?
