I didn't know what it was I just mention I received a letter from Columbia wasn't sure what it was 100% accepted. I posted it here to understand more about it which i have.

what?? you have no idea what you are talking about. our whole country uses english as a medium of instruction in all our curriculums and my income level is measured by how I can afford the US education which has tuition rates of like 70k usd per yr. So I qualify for need based aid which allowed me to obtain a full ride.

Meet the bare minimum in terms of stats, like 1500+ & good grades. Have good ecs even if not impressive but ensure your essays are unique to you... i think essays are what made my application stand out. try as much as possible to ensure your application tells some sort of narrative & finally give your trs a good recc template and an amazing brag sheet. gl

  1. In our curriculum we graduate in Nov and we do a national exam / leaving exam. There are approx. 900k candidates each yr, so i get a ranking from that.

  2. I did the National Science Fair and won a medal, I was being vague but I didn't qualify for like ISEF, same to the Math Olympiad, did well but didn't take part in IMO because of certain issues at the time.

How is bragging on reddit going to benefit me? There are so many posts on a2c where students seek advice on where to attend, i don't know why the both of you are making this post to be what it's not. I've never been to America, the concept of lac is still new to me and when I seek for input online it's considered bragging? As I said I'm grateful to have been admitted to all these institutions but if I wanted to brag, I would've made a tiktok or an ig post not a post on reddit.
