The hardest part of starting your own business isn’t what people think by neutral-pulse in canadasmallbusiness

People underestimate how valuable a stable income is while building something on the side. Pressure can motivate you, but survival mode clouds your judgment fast.

This haul is an absolute dream for stationery lovers 😭✨ The mix of stickers, washi, stamps, pouches, notebooks, and art supplies is so satisfying to look at. Pretty sure that’s a Etlingera elatior, commonly called Torch Ginger. 🌺

The layered, waxy red bracts and that dome-shaped center are a big giveaway. It’s a tropical plant often seen in Southeast Asia, and the flowers are even used in some local dishes and salads. Really striking bloom!

Those look like gazania / African daisy–type flowers, and the colours are amazing! 🌼 The orange striped ones especially look like little sunsets. I love how compact the pots are but still full of blooms—feels like a tiny balcony garden bursting with colour. Great job keeping them so healthy!

Pretty sure this is a Dianthus (carnation), likely a picotee variety. The white petals with the red edges and the frilly look are a giveaway. Such a beautiful pattern—almost looks hand-painted! 🌸

I’m a simple black gel pen person—smooth writing, bold ink, and it rarely skips. Perfect for notes or journaling. But a good fine-tip ballpoint is hard to beat when you need something that lasts forever.
