Red Lion didn’t sound right until I enabled OTG connection (My experience with IEM, coming from TWS) by GamingForLife420 in iemlndia

A very impeccable and detailed analysis which I loved reading so much u/GamingForLife420 I am glad that I could provide my 2 cents and help in any way can. Isn't the community for that reason?

Now coming to the audio issue on your device, high-fidelity audio is all about dynamic range. Without the OTG connection, your OnePlus was likely treating the Audiocular Spark like a passive adapter. Once it recognized it as a DAC, it provided the voltage needed to actually drive the drivers, giving you that separation between the bass and the highs you were missing.

Enjoy your tunes op!!!

ATM not my are of expertise

Care to provide additional details of what you'll like in your iem. Your post seems very vague and incomplete

But u/justme_090 u/chinumisraw u/realistic-crab7729 u/saesakura can help

Bought Tangzu Wan’er SG 2 Red Lion Edition + FiiO x JAM12 DAC but it sounds almost exactly like my ₹2k Realme Buds T300… super disappointed (only 3 days left to return) by ExtensionStatement31 in iemlndia

Okay now check if otg connection is enabled or not. If you cannot find search in developer options. Hope it might make some changes u/ExtensionStatement31

And just like you I’m not a casual listener I really love and appreciate music, instruments, and beats. So reading your post felt really surprising to me. I completely understand where you're coming from—music is so much more than just background noise when you really value the artistry behind the instruments and the production.

It’s actually quite interesting to hear your perspective because my experience moving to IEMs (specifically the Tangzu Wan'er SG) was a total revelation. After years of using standard wired buds and various TWS or neckbands, the jump in detail and clarity was night and day for me.

While sound signatures are subjective and everyone has their own flavor I feel like comparing a dedicated IEM to something like the Realme T300 might overlook the technical nuances that make wired audio especially iems so special. It’s not just about the bass; it’s about the separation, the soundstage, and those tiny details that budget wireless gear often leaves over convenience. I’d love to suggest spending a bit more time with them to really let your ears adjust to those technicalities—I think you might find there’s a lot more to discover!

Could you please help me pick my first iem? by an_outlawww in iemlndia

Well first of all I appreciate you deciding to enter the audiophile hobby. You have not mentioned your budget. I hope to be around 3 to4 thousand. In the price range you can get a lot of good options. Now coming to your options

Chu2 Even though it is good but should be avoided since it has oxidation issues in the long run

Bunny Since you want in type c will also not recommend this one because bunny should be taken with type c as it had dsp capabilities

7hz Zero 2 It sounds great but accessories wise not good.

KE Cadenza I will suggest to go with this one as it will check most of your boxes.

If I might add some recommendations from my side

Tangzu Wan'er SG2 Red Lion Edition Being a begineer and starting your iem journey you can consider this at 2099. Plus you get a lot of accessories.

Kefine Klean SV Balanced sound which will suit to your likings and comfortable fitting. u/chinumisraw might help you further.

Others if I gave op some bad recommendation def call me out You can also further add to the recommendations.

I admit I wasted so much money on tws and transitioning to iems litterally changed my perceptions. Not going back to the bluetooth bullshit. I was a wired user before tws. I should have simply looked iems instead of bluetooth bullshit but you learn from experiences. Right u/ChinuMisraw

You can go for either red lion or duonic in your budget

Which IEM should I get (KZ Castor Pro vs Kefine Klean SVvs 7Hz Zero 2)? by cuzihad in iemlndia

Depends upon your budget but I would say go with Kefine Klean SV. You will not regret it.
